    Lime stone for calcium Koudijs concrete …mix with soya cake to mix with concrete Maize brand don’t over stock for more than a month Maize should take more than 50% on mixes 60% Birds must feed on starter food for like 4 to 6 weeks Stock maize Buh make sure it’s air rated Hammer mill to grind the maize

    You are doing very good. I know a farmer that grows his own soy beans and corn. It takes a good amount of land to grow enough for the year. They do have to purchase limestone but they are able to grind and mix their own feed once a month. It is good to see you use a foot bath to protect your feed from contamination this is very professional.

    Buy a one ton mixer machine. Cost about 3000$. You'll get a more homogenous feed for your chickens.

    @@FarmUp indeed. We planning on doing some storage in December. It is usually the case down here in Nigeria. The prices dropped in around December due to excess supply and then start going up from February. Really can’t wait to join your academy to learn from you. Big up Dr Daniel.     Dr. Daniel, you have built a Farm Empire. To be honest you rilly worth it, having a blue print and implementing it is very crucial. This will be crazy money can you imagine Earning 100 USD per day because of stoking maize in plenty. What a Money Tree 🎄!!

    You should get a pellet machine to be abel to fix a done mix and it will take less space, easier to feed chickens, and should store the feed better and longer🤔

    The biggest mistake layer farmers make is using substandard lime. This in turn leads to soft egg shells that the chicken can easily eat up when laid. Farmers record a very low production percentage not knowing the root cause, happened to me!

    Excellent video, thank you!! Maybe you can try to make/use a low cost mechanical ventilation system to be able to store the bran and the maize kernels better/longer. Also pile the bags so that air can get through better. And like you said, a silo would be even better but more costly...

I have been doing kuroilers. For layer poultry starters what would you recommend, should I go for point of lay or day old chicks ( I have experience in brooding) also which layer breed would you recommend to me.
