The good news is that you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars on a private chef and personal trainer to live a healthier lifestyle. It starts with just a few little changes that you build upon day after day.
Sure, there are guys named Fabrice who charge 1000 English pounds per hour to whip your body into shape while wearing spandex, but you can also just go for a 30 minute walk every day to lower your stress, reduce the amount of cortisol being dumped into your blood, and even help you to lose weight. If you walk outside, the benefits are compounded. Experts who’ve gone to prestigious universities have studied the effects of being outdoors and learned it makes us happier, more cooperative, smarter, and retain our memories better, too.
You could also fork over some major cash to have a highly trained nutritionist tell you what not to eat, or you could just make some silly-simple changes like giving up one junk food a week, while replacing it with something better - like leafy greens, vegetables, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, sprouts, and healthy oils. I am three day without cigarettes and I’m currently looking for a psychologist for my mood swings. I’ve also been eating healthier the last month. That was my first step. My second was working out today and playing with my dog more because his happiness makes me happy!

i can totally recommend mindfulness meditation: 10-15mins in the morning are enough to reduce stress levels, increase willpower, self-discipline and concentration and due to the increased mindfulness, you will do all the stuff mentioned in this video automatically (over time, of course), since you will literally feel the negative impact of fastfood, not engaging in any physical movements (e.g. taking a walk or doing sports), etc.

@@walnutbrb5862 well, that is a paradox if you want to eat mindful, you try to listen to your body, not to any specific tips. But "in defense of food" is a great (audio) book to think about food and nutrition :)

I am 4 weeks into replacing all fizzy drinks for nothing but water . Noticed my skin definitely has started to clear up 😃

a new years resulution is called a new (years) resolution, when you become better and learn over a year. Point is, there is no goal it's an elusion, just fucus on beeing better then you was yesterday, sometimes you will take 100 steps back, it's okay you are dooing your best, just try your best to enjoy the proces and remember life is like a stock it might be gooing down, but when you ceep gooing, i't only a matter of time before those 100 steps back, when become posetive again! Ceeping a posetive mindset, and not beeing to hard on one self is importent to. Hope that helps, this is a sign everything will be okay

at first my first step was to jump straight away into losing weight! but now its to learn about my body, the nutritions it needs, balanced meals ideas, whats normal (like bloating..) and anything else i guess. not only that, im also starting to begin exercising and eating more healthy, like cutting out junk food and sweets (and sugar)!!

I tried to prevent junk food and not overeating for 3 months and it changed my life. I started to get used live healthy. My craves for junk food decreased. bUt everything changed by just a month. I keep eating what I want just for a month and everything is back to the normal. My goal for this year is to live healthily. I don't care if I don't lose weight, as long as I'm healthy and free from obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

My first step will be doing a 30 day habit challenge to change a few behaviours (sleep, tidying, movement, nutrients). the changes will give me the vitality to keep trying and adapting but the tangible deadline to help me commit to starting.
First step: I will make sure to get good sleep every night so I am well rested, energized, and ready to go the next day.
Replace my daily Dr. Peper with more water lol
In order to lead a healthier life, I started to practice sports, eat healthy and in smaller quantities, I gave up bread and drink completely. I hope to continue improving my life as the years go by. This video is motivational 🎉.

I already took the first step which is having a sleeping schedule. My next step is drinking water. I don't drink at all on some days, so I want to start at two cups of water and one cup of herbal tea.
in my opinion this video tells us how important it is to have good nutrition in order not to have so many problems in the future and it also tell us that we need to they care our nutrition.

Thank you so much! I live in poverty and I’m trying to reverse the unhealthy damage to my body from a really dark time in my life… I got down 50 lbs but after that I started losing my motivation. I started at over 100 lbs overweight… I can’t alter most of my diet since I rely on house groceries more than personal groceries but I can alter some of it and I can alter most of my lifestyle :)

In my personal thought, this video brings us the perspective of being healthier in a good way because in other videos, youtubers, think that just doing sports and eating a lot of vegetables is okay, but this also encourages people to change our garbage habits . food to another such as: green leaves, nuts, seeds, etc., to have positive energy, in other words, with more nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates and fats). On the other hand, we could share this video with more people because with respect to the theme "Healthy life" that is in Identities (IB theme) it is related to having the sport part, a healthy mind and highlighting the change to a better lifestyle.

I stopped smoking and drinking almost seven years ago. I exercise on a regular basis and try to eat healthy foods. I feel better and I think these measures got me through a bad covid illness. I plan to continue. Good luck to those working for better health.
One thing I’ve been doing is taking a walk for the past week or so after a decently traumatic experience my brain had with medicine. It’s definitely been helping me get in shape and feel a little better, though I am still struggling and it’s hard to not feel scared about certain things now. In other words, my anxiety is through the roof.

I’ve gotten to such a low place in my life that I need to start with the basics- getting up/going to bed at a decent time, brushing my teeth & washing my face, eating 3 meals a day (not as much processed food), drinking enough water… & limiting screen time (I think this is the main issue). Idk how I let myself get here but I HATE myself for it. I miss the old me- working out every day, laughing, eating Whole Foods, working my butt off & doing things I love. I’m miserable & don’t know where to begin..
