    Awesome video. All facts and I appreciate the channel highlight! I started doing that artwork (sunsets, silhouettes etc) after trying a BUNCH of stuff, and then just doubling down on what works! In the early stages it’s good to experiment, and then consistently keep doing what resonates most with your audience. Great vid

In my opinion, it is very interesting for beatmakers/producers when a producer deconstructs a beat where the artists have made a lot of views on it. Shows which vsts you used etc. Maybe you could do something like that with, for example, the beat you made for white 2115 - 18? for me this beat is something amazing and I would love to see how you came to put this whole sound together. I'd argue that leaving out the key and BPM in the description is better because it forces people to engage with your video and comment below asking for it, more comments = more engagement which the algorithm likes

  • @beatsbyalvin

    3 ай бұрын

    If they really wanted to know it would be available on your beat store so it forces them to click through also. You kinda need to act like a KZreadr as well as a producer because there is no obligation for an artist to interact with a faceless channel posting beats - they either skip or download the beat without saying a word whereas in other niches, comments and likes are encouraged for more impressions. Leveraging human psychology like this can help the reach of your videos and personally I've gotten like 2 sales redirecting people to my site for the key and BPM. @@prodbyzbeatz

  • @prodzbeatz

    @prodzbeatz

    2 ай бұрын

    that’s definitely true - having a face to brand helps a lot. And yea good point! If they invest the time to go to your beatstore to find the bpm and key there’s a much higher likelihood they’ll buy a beat since they’re already there

    Thanks bro! It's not necessarily bad. I'd look to see what the overall score is on VidIQ. If it's high 70's or 80's then you should be good! Especially if you're combining it with another keyword with a lower competition score.

    Great tips. My issue is my channel previously had different type of content (music video graphics stuff) which is not my thing and I just did it as an experiment for a bit and got 5K subs from it because of 1 video that went super viral. I then deleted the video and changed the niche and name to my music because I had no real interest in the graphics and also needed a youtube channel connected to my music distributor. So now I'm experiencing subscriber drop-off and much less views. Looking back I should have left and made a new channel but for some reason thought the subscriber count would be an initial boost. Do you think the algorithm will just be fcked or can I grow it back organically and start getting recommended more with the new content? I'm about 3 weeks in posting a beat each day but very low CTR and much less views, or better to start a new channel?

  • @prodzbeatz

    @prodzbeatz

    2 ай бұрын

    Thanks bro! In this case I’d suggest starting a new channel because most of your channels subscribers subscribed for that other content. So when they see the type beats you’ve been posting now they probably won’t click on the video - leading to low CTR and KZread not recommending them to new viewers. So I’d suggest taking all the same beats you’ve been posting the past 3 weeks every day and reupload them + schedule them out for the next 3 weeks of the new channel. And then continue to make new beats and keep scheduling them out so you’ll be 3 weeks ahead. Let me know if that makes sense and hope that helps 🙏🏼

    Yes, it will claim anyone’s video that uses your beat that the system picks up. But you can whitelist their channel and release the claim. And it’s better for you to do it because if not then an artist will most likely claim content ID on it when they’re not supposed to and then it’ll claim and monetize on all other buyers videos and your original beat video. That's a great question - it definitely happens to me. I think the way you can expand your sound and keep it fresh while staying in your niche is by experimenting with the 2nd/3rd tag you use for your type beats. For example if you're going for "Post Malone type beat" you can try different other tags like "post malone x dominic fike type beat" for more indie guitar type beats or do "post malone x lil baby type" for more melodic rap type beats. But try not to go in too many different directions because at the end of the day you want a consistent sound to attract artists/subscribers who are looking for that thing. Let me know if that makes sense 🙏

  • @prodzbeatz

    @prodzbeatz

    6 күн бұрын

    Hey bro usually I’d recommend having a seperate channel for tutorials and type beats because they’re for different types of audiences. Type beats are mostly for artists and tutorials are mostly for producers. And if you mix them on your channel it’ll confuse potential subscribers and make it hard hard for them to understand what you do and if it’s worth it for them to subscribe. So I’d recommend having separate channels.

  • @prodzbeatz

    I'd suggest starting a new channel in your case. Especially if you're going to change your sound from what you did before. Because trying to get your old subscribers attention/views after being gone for so long will be tough since they probably aren't thinking about your channel anymore. And the KZread algorithm weighs your current subscribers engagement with a lot more importance compared to new viewers, so it'll be tough to break out of that. If you start a new channel with good SEO (picking good keywords and staying consistent) you'll be able to gain 200+ subscribers a lot faster than if you went back to your old channel and tried growing it now. Let me know if that makes sense.

    “Future type beat” is a more competitive keyword so I’d suggest going for something that has less competition. Use vidiq or tubebuddy to find some options that are in a similar lane but have a better SEO opportunity

    Hey bro the base level of vidiq is £15 a month and that's all you need. You could also use tubebuddy. In my opinion it’s worth it so you know what keywords to go after. Because if not, you’re just guessing.

    @@prodzbeatz I always do tyler the creator type beats and sometimes have another artist like mac miller or have and album in the title.
