I'm a recovering vegan/vegetarian (sigh) and have been on grass-fed, grass-finished beef for the last 3 months. After the first week I felt a difference; after the first month I felt like Superwoman! It's worth the extra expense to make up for all the crap I did to my body for decades, and, BTW, my urine is slightly green! 🙂 I also drive a 1990 Honda CRX (that would be 34 years old) that runs like a sports car because, unlike what I did with my diet, I took VERY good care of that car. Thanks for the heads-up about Piedmontese and for being such an inspiration!

exactly. Until a Doc experiences what his/her patient's experience, it's a moot point. There are a few, but not many, who've shifted from their training / traditional processes however it's generally only after a proper scare that the wake up call is listened to ... We've recently taken a 1/2 carcass of Jersey beef, regeneratively farmed. Worth every penny. ❤

The majority of our cheapest beef in New Zealand is the fatty grass fed type (as the grain fed is things like marbled beef/Wagyu etc). The butchers also trim less fat off it, so they can profit more by weight. Even though I like the flavour of fattier meat, I do notice the taste difference of grain fed. The more yellow fat cap (sign of increased grazing on beta-caratine rich plants), has a better overall flavour and I seek it out (it is also cheaper)

Just a testimonial. I ordered some ground beef from Piedmontese and it's excellent. I'll order some other cuts soon. Thank you ! The easiest and healthiest way I've found to eat liver is to take it out of the freezer for 10 or 15 minutes, until it just begins to thaw, and then cut bits off of the frozen chunk and eat them. Little partly frozen liver-sicles. Toothsome, raw, nutritious and not 'icky'

Been raw carnivore for twenty some years,,, off and on ferments of all kinds, currently off. I have this theory, and it's just a theory. Most ferments, excluding kefir and yogurts,, are made with lots of salt ( and currently subscribe to the notion that only herbivores seek out and need sodium due to the fact that it is lacking in grass ect..). Salt is used in Saurkraut, (and there are saltless versions out there ) to limit the types of bacteria. Most producers say that it's to keep the 'bad' bacteria and yeasts to a minimum. My theory is that salt also limits the variety of healthy bacteria, which would mean that when using salt made ferments you are inducing a limited amount of strains. Maybe this is true, maybe not. Would have to compare salt vs saltless in a lab. But in general, since I get all sorts of animal based bacteria from raw meat etc. I don't notice any benefits, other than what some would say is a more volume sized bm. The plus is that I'm not always having to chase a salt thirst to seemingly flush out extra sodium from my body. And I do tend to believe that excess salt alters the sodium/potassium pump that goes on inside cells. Again, this is all speculation, but of course testing on oneself is only valid for the tester. Would also add that I've read, not sure of it's truth or not, that all the sodium the body needs per day is in 30 grams of meat naturally. Another thought is that when ferments are eaten with meat, the acid condition of the stomach at a meal time is low enough to ameliorate live bacteria from both the meat and ferment. thus if one wants to allow the bacteria in the saur kraut, then a thought would be to eat it on an empty stomach along with water. and one more thought, we inhale, especially if we live close to nature, billions and billions of airborne bacteria constantly. They are everywhere, and not just in ferments. Hold a head of cabbage in your hand and pluck off some of it's leaves, and there are bacteria coming off too, You just can't see them. I think fermenting does break down some anti nutirents, but Question as to how effectibe it is for destroying oxalates. I sought out the best quality Kvass, raw, organic, in glass, and was expecting some uplift from the nitrous Oxide it was supposed to increase.. Nothing. Except, again, a great thirst. So then when I learned how high beets are in oxalates,, it was the first of my armanmentum of ferments to go. But maybe for those who diets consists of predominately cooked food with little to no bacterial content remaining and devoid of enzymes, they might have a real beneficial effect. Plus I don't have any excess visceral fact to lose. So I can't judge as to whether that would have been a factor for me. Again, full of speculation, but thought I'd share. I do someday want to try making kefir out of fresh raw organic cabbage juice with kefir grains. Could be interesting.

I think eating fermented veg is pointless, unless you are constipated. As any mushy veg material will just be excreted in a similar consistency as to what is was when going in. Fermented veg has no calories, protein, or b12. It's most likely the b12 in the raw liver making the piss greener. Maybe folks should be talking about fermented meats. But of course, that sounds gross and scary. But does it really seem as gross as fermented cabbage? Kim-chee, I would rather have my ass kicked then eat fermented cabbage. People that eat cabbage tend to look like holocaust victims. People that eat primarily meat and fat and exercise look more like athletes and fighters. What would you rather look like? A pussy, or a beast? A shit-zoo, or a pit bull? Words with a dash are purposefully misspelled.

Well very sorry to hear you took it that way. This is NOT an easy topic/concept to either grasp or present. I am introducing the capacity for humans to both optimize their biological function (sprinting, tanning, eliminating spider veins, visible pulses, defecation/stool characteristics and now color of urine. This is NOT about me but for everyone to work towards. I think I do a better job explaining it in my next video after this one Brian that is just 16 minutes long and delves into your epithelial cells lining your gut, your microbiome and the told they play in being able to maximally extract nutrients from food and meat so others can yes pee green. Give it a watch and see if you dont maybe change your mind. My passion is to reverse chronic disease in humanity NOT just in me. My God.👊👊

If an actual Dr cannot afford grass fed beef then I don't think that the average worker can also. It's extremely rare for me to eat grass fed and in my four years as a carnivore I've only eaten two ribeye steaks. They are just too expensive. I eat meat and exercise daily, walking or running at least three miles. That's enough.

Dr. Sean has six kids to put through school. I’m on a limited budget and eat 2 ribeyes a day 25 out of 30 days and hamburger the other days. I get them at the beginning of the month with my pension. When there’s a will there’s a way. Also- running three miles a day is not great. Watch more of Dr Sean’s vids about how some distance runners are unknowingly loaded with visceral fat. I’ve watched my stomach go from gross to “can barely pinch it now” in the past 4 months, by sprinting, and it takes me not even 10 minutes every other day!
