Honestly, you've really helped me out! This tutorial is so much better than the tutorial on the DJI Ronin App

Would be a lot better if there wasn't music playing in the back ground it's very distracting FYI. 👍🏻

Good and helpful video, I did have to watch a few times until I got it, but still way more helpful than the official Dji videos.

Hi, Can you please help. I try to balance my Ronin SC with Canon M50 + Sigma 16mm and Rode videomicro. Less than 2kg. Everything is OK except for Roll balance. Camera always rotates (a bit) from left to the right and from right to the left. Impossible to balance it perfectly. The application on my phone shows Excellent for everything however I see that ROLL balance is not that perfect like Tilt balance. Should I return the Gimbal do DJI ? or just leave it like that ? Thank you for your help !

Yeah the music is a bit loud but this video is way more helpful than the official DJI one. I was balanced in like 5 minutes after wasting 20 with the DJI one.

Hi, I am having trouble connecting my camera to the gimbal. I myself have the Sony eight 6400 and the proper cable that came with the gimbal. And I keep getting an error message on my screen “check connected device” can’t seem to fix this issue.

I just bought a Ronin SC and it arrived yesterday. Today it completely stopped working. The app cant find it, the motors do nothing with the joystick. Totally shut out. Anyone have this issue. DJI's customer service is not good and Amazon is not taking responsibility saying it was purchased from a third party. Any help, anyone???

So, I have to take this comment back. I bought DJI care refresh and the customer service has been incredible. They paid for shipping, replaced my item and even sent me an extra handle grip/battery. My advice is to buy the DJI Care Refresh or some other warranty, and to not buy over Amazon. You dont know who you are buying from, and Amazon will not always honor it. Get it at Best Buy or somewhere you can return it to the seller without question also....not Amazon

I have a a6400 I balance the first step but once I try 45 degree it just falls back to the starting position all loose like should the motors be stiff?

Hi! Awesome video. I am having trouble with my ronin sc while shooting timelapse. It always gets stuck in some where between cud you please help me out here if you have come across such a problem. I am using sony a6300 by the way.

Honestly the official Ronin SC tutorial is awful.. I was able to balance my Ronin SC for the very first time thanks to you!

My Sony a5000 is all the way to the right but still won’t balance any tips to solve this

Great walkthrough! I can echo the other comments saying the DJI tutorial is lacking, so thanks for offering something straight forward and insightful!

Is it possible to use Ronin for small camera (Sony, less than 0,4 kg)? I have problem during 1st step, I cannot make it still on 45 and 135 degrees.

Hmmm did you try using a counter weight to make it a bit heavy where it’s not balancing right. Haven’t tried it on lighter cameras.

I added part for attaching flash lamp and then it gets balanced but am not sure if I should treat it like whole "camera" and balance it for next steps to 90 degrees or like camera with a cell attached (in official videos they say to balance it to 45 degrees). I am a little confused 😬

_Ronin SC Pan Axis unable to get ''Excellent''_ *SOLUTION* While doing the balance test, I tilt the Gimbal over 25-30°, I then get ''Excellent''. If I immediately balance test again at 15° I get ''Re Balancing Required'', so it is some kind of bug. Just balance-test it at around 30° and it's good. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem. I have spent way too much time trying to solve it before I found out about this and I'm an expert in balancing a gimbal now xD
