Thank you much. I watched the DJI how-to video + another guy's video and was still stuck at trying to correctly balance the pan part. 13:05 is the last bit that got me to pass the "balance test" on the app. :-)

Yep. I watched this month ago. It helped me but I’ve not used my Ronin for close to a year. Thank God I was able to find this video again. Perfect explanation.

I have had my DJI Ronin now for about a year. The first time I did the setup it was an absolute pain. This is hands down the most simple and best video out there for easy setup. Thanks for your work on this!

You're a life savior. I watched some other videos that made it seem more complicated or were just not cleared enough. After following your steps, I was getting all axis as "excellent" but mine was making a squeaking sound and it was vibrating heavily, after the calibration finished. It turns out I needed to do a "restore gimbal parameters". Now the sound and vibration went away . Great tutorial!

Hey Joe, awesome video bette than DJI provided!! Small edit: the pan moter is the yaw moter. When i launched the app and dit the balancing test it said: Re-belance the 'yaw'.

Very down to earth explanation on how to set up. This is exactly how we all would do it including the little mishaps we encounter because we forget some details. Great !!

Nice try. Thanks. But after a hour, managed to get a good balance. Took the camera off. Did not adjust anything. Next day. Second tryout. Had to do a full rebalance from scratch. This machine will drive me crazy, but before it does, back it goes to the store. Its just not worth the time it takes to set it up.

The app is no longer on play store for me, so I had to download the APK file from their website and install it from my downloads folder.

Thanks a lot. This is the best balancing tutorial ever. I have my Ronin-SC since 3 years and at that time I never succeeded to balance him correctly, even by looking several tutorials. So, I haven't used my gimbal since. I'm very grateful to you. 🙏

you left out the auto tune on the app to set proper motor strength that will very with different cameras or lenses

I read such frightening reviews about how hard it is to balance the SC but you made it easy! Took me less than 30 minutes the very first time I tried and it worked perfectly. Thanks! PS. Enjoyed the dead battery, too!

Wow! This is one of the best and most simplified video to follow the setup for DJI Ronin SC and for Balancing. I have been struggling to balance my Gimbal for several weeks until i saw this video. It took less than 15 minutes for me and the Ronin app also showed excellent test results. Thanks a lot Joe for posting this video. :)

I’m so glad yours went out of balance again right after you unlocked everything. Mine did the exact same thing and I was like, wtf. But turns out my little stopper knob on the mounting plate got knocked, like yours was, too. This was the only tutorial I found that I could actually follow - thanks for leaving the little struggles you had with it in the video - it ended up helping me troubleshoot better.

This is by far THE BEST walkthrough tutorial EVER! I literally wasted my breath last night on setting up my ronin sc and then stumbled upon your vedio this morning.. now I feel like trying once more before returning back the product.
