This is what is problem with India. Customers are not liable for banks mistake. If it would have happened with me I would have filed case on bank. Bank has no right to freeze account or debit amount.. Same thing happened with sbi where money did not come out of atm but bank denied to pay compensation because card holder did not withdraw amount. When banks can talk rules and so customers also should know to fight.

There was a bug earlier in SBI IRCTC card. Bonus points were getting accrued even on the tickets of other people in the same PNR, whereas as per policy the 4 per cent or 10 per cent return was allowed only on the member’s ticket. Moreover, these points were not withdrawn even on part cancellation of the ticket. I got a lot of points and redeemed them too on IRCTC. Of course, I never did anything intentionally just to gain more points. It was a bug which gave me the advantage.Later they fixed the bug but the points already given were not withdrawn. Later, my train travel came down so I cancelled the card way back in 2015.

Yes i totally agree with ur post but im my opinion this kind of clickbait is kinda necessary as people who use all this kind of tricks and hacks without knowing the consequences will click on video thinking they will learn new tricks and after watching videos they will understand the consequences n might stop using hacks and tricks.

Hello sir mere papa ke paas sbi simply click credit card hai unke paas 6 month pehle ek fraud call aaya aur bola card details bata kar ke aapka card block ho gaya hai isse chalu karne ke liye otp bata do aur mere papa ne galti se OTP bata diya aur usne 10000+ ka transaction kar diya mene 24hr ke andar sbi card mai complain bhi kara tha par unhone valid transaction bata kar complain close kar diya aur hamne fir bill jama nahi karwaya par credit card walo ka daily phone aata hai aur vo harasse karte hai mere papa pareshan ho gaye hai aur 6 month mai sbi card walo ne amount double se bhi jyada kar diya hai charges laga kar. Please sir koi solution bataiye. Please help

Can we just close the credit card with negative points and if bank denies we can say it was issue at their end so they cannot force us to pay negative reward points balance? Is there any RBI rule regarding it.

Banks may go for litigation and prove that the reward points were earned unethically. They may raise an outstanding and spoil your credit score.

I got call from customer care they informed me that now Axis bank issue only one card to their customer instead of 3. Those are having more than one card can be used but for new customer only one card they will issue this changes done in last 2 days.

Ban from Axis Bank ecosystem and there future offerings.

So finally Sumanta was already using the hack and did not disclose this information for the past year. Looks like you were already using and knowing about it, but you came forward only after the point reversals took place. If you support so much non misuse of reward points you should have informed axis and put up the video way before and not waiting for an year for axis to realise it.
