  • @RussellKlimas

    @RussellKlimas

    When doing horizontal light paintings like this it depends on how high the drone goes. If I'm going REALLy high then it will be face down but if I'm not then it will be pointing towards the camera. This is because if it's really big and goes for away from you with the lumecube pointed down but at a low altitude the camera will eventually lose the light from the lumecube.

    Is it possible to do this but work more with altitude than with lateral distance. So that the picture created more "stands up" and can thus be place for instance next to a mountain, not just high up in empty sky

    @@DronePsychPerspectives Sorry my mistake I was relating this to google earth. If you go to the web based app there are buttons on the left hand bottom side and one has a arrow going in a circle. Click on the button, click somewhere on your map, and then it will allow you to rotate.

    That is Awesome, but completely illegal by FAA standards even for hobbyist. You must have anti collision lights on a drone when flying at night. The lights that come on most drones are not anti collison. I would love to do this but can't due to the rules.
