I think this might actually be my favourite project you've done. I absolutely adore how it looks like a fisheye lens from a distance, then slowly shifts into correct perspective as you move closer. Really magical!

I know I'm just repeating what most others are saying here, but this is one of the best art pieces I think you've done so far. I really enjoyed your other 3D paintings, like the layered acrylic ones, but I think because they were so much more complicated they didn't look nearly as clean as this painting in the end. I would love to see more of this 3D "dome" art projects like this in the future!

Honestly Jazza, you should open an art museum with all the painting and projects you've done over the years, I bet a lot of people would come to see it, who knows, maybe even some international fans would come and see your works.

Even a small version of those domes are pretty expensive.
Can only imagine how much cooler this looks in person. It would make such a neat portal effect, sorta stepping into that dome and then looking around and it's a full 360 around you. What I DO know is some aquariums have a dome like that you can stick your head in, and the entire time it feels like you're about to hit the glass, even when you're barely in there. It really does mess with you
@howling_starr
25 күн бұрын
Honestly it would be really cool to see him do a second take on this concept, but you view it by coming in from below rather than the side, like the aquarium domes you mentioned!
I think having real light fade into the actually light parts of this would’ve made this ten times more immersive
Wow...just wow. Thats an amazing piece, and i really appreciate that the dragon isn't overshadowing everything else, but is still proninent enough to give the sense of context to things.
Upload a 180° video inside the dome! KZread supports them, so if you get a 180 camera and upload that video, we'll be able to look around ourselves as if we're inside! People could even see it in their VR headsets.

I just wanna see a whole art gallery of artwork done like this. It would make the experience of going to an art gallery so much more interactive and immersive. No one would just walk past a peice of art they glance at and don't think anything of it, you actually have to stop at the artwork, physically put your head in it and observe it. Such a neat idea. Really I hope im able to see some of these in person some day
It litterally feels like I could look right or left and see a whole hallway with people and a whole other world! This is insanely well made
This blew me away Jazza, I've been watching you for years and I love how much you love this piece. It is definitely one of your best pieces and I loved watching you paint it! amazing!
Great as the artwork is I'm more blown away by the quality of the camera work in the video. Really manages to sell the 3D and perspective trickery of painting on the dome all the way through.
I've been watching jazza for 5-6 years and this guys consistency, creativity and talent never seizes to impress me, always motivates me to try something different, and actually keep trying

This is probably my favourite project or art piece you have ever done. The lighting is so stunning and the depth and detail is astounding oh my goodness
This was the perfect example of testing a medium and leveraging it, I love that
I went to a museum recently, which had these cubic glass dispalys that were painted on the inside. From the right POV, they made a very similar illusion of depth. I was absolutely facinated.
It’s crazy how 3D it feels with the bowl. As you move the camera in, it feels like you could keep walking deeper into the painting, out onto the battlements
I find it interesting that fire crackling is a very soothing sound that is easy to fall asleep to, especially considering it isn’t something you’d want to leave unattended. Seriously tho, burnout is easy to get caught by especially at the pace your animating at. Don’t push yourself too hard and make sure to give yourself a break every now and again. Also, props on the slow melting and sfx. Very soothing fire crackling.
The way that you can't see the hallway at all when you're not in it and you suddenly can as you approach really sells it!
This has really turned out amazing! Congratulations Jazza! I would absolutely love to see a 360° (VR) image of it 🤩

Unironicly one of the best things you've made to date. Both the 3D effect and the painting its self are top of your gain. Been a while since I've verbally gasps in amazment at art on KZread. The real thing must be increedable.
This has to be a testament to just how skilled of an artist you are Jazza. It’s mind blowing just how amazing this looks.
Now that is what modern art should be, using amazing skill combined with modern ideas and canvases

Absolutely gorgeous. The effect itself works wonderfully, but man what a painting! Love how the acrylic paint almost feels like you´re sculpting with the way the layers sit on top of each other and blend and push. The final painting looks like something out of the fantasy picture books I used to read as a kid and I love the style of those old prints. This was amazing Jazza!
Personally I think this is some of your best work yet. Not only the amazing concept that works so well and gives you the wow factor, but just the quality of the piece is insanely great.
I think it’s crazy how literally every single project small or big jazza astonishes me
I feel like Jazza's progression as a painter is awesome, and is definetly one of his strongest skill sets.
To be honest u prolly could have masked off the back portion of the painting ovr the sky and put the whole thing in a box and had an actual light being produced from the sky in the painting
Not just the light/painting technique, but the composition is awesome and really utelizes the sphere!! Really wish I could see it in person!
The skill is actually insane. I really wish I could paint like this. I feel like these dome paintings could be a whole art show on its own!
Honestly one of the best pieces you've ever done, and it was on a dome!

You could say it's quite hard to wrap your dome arround it.
Two things. First of all, jazza you have really improved a lot recently with youre physical media, i know you used to say you struggled with painting but looking at this video you look like a natural. Second. Would love to see this effect done with like a space or sea environment
Absolutely insane that something so awesome came from his first attempt. Could see someone like Disney commissioning a collection with different scenes from their movies to display.
out of all of his projects this has to be my absolute favorite..the passion he shows is mind blowing and beautiful
The fact you're STILL finding new things to paint on after all these years! 😊
Oh this is so cool- it feels like you could walk down the passages on either side. And I agree that even if it was a flat piece the colors and composition really pop
Jazza does it again, since your early animation day you've inspired me to do digital art, and again here you are inspiring me to do traditional art. My new favorite Jazza project!
The best thing about this piece is the true joy you exude. So genuine. You’re always happy and joyful. But this hit different. I’m so happy for you and grateful for us. ❤
This is perhaps my favorite thing you've ever made. So cool to watch, and just admiring your talent and the way you understand lighting, working on strange surfaces etc. Haven't even finished the video yet and can't wait for the final reveal
What a mind-bendingly awesome painting! Not only is the depth extremely immersive and cool to move around, your actually painting skills and colors are fantastic! Definitely one of my favourite pieces from you!
You know Jazza, you are a very talented artist in multiple mediums, and while talented artists are only one in a thousand, there are a billion of us on Earth. I feel like this is you finally shattering the barrier into being one in a million and maybe one day being one of those one in a billion geniuses that we write history books about. While I'd love to see more of these 3D paintings, just keep pushing the envelope in every direction that your creativity guides you!
The inner walls and arch are SUCH a nice touch!
This is hands down your best video to date. So unbelievably creative and well executed
Why are all the people in your studio so fun and goofy jazza? Love them !! The painting turned out so cool too !!
Seeing this piece taking shape and form throughout the video was simply astonishing, the perspective, the colors, the technique... I've never been so impressed. This makes me want to try this on my own... if only I had the time 😢😢😢
That is absolutely gorgeous! The 3D effect really pops, even on camera. And I love how much story it tells with just such a simple design. Two figures and a tiny silhouette, but that's all you need for a great story.
Can’t wait to watch this vid! If you are looking for ideas you could try polymorph plastic, it’s these plastic beads that melt in boiling water, you can sculpt it and then it goes really hard within a few minutes 😃 Edit: OMG the outcome looks amazing!🤩
I haven't even finished but the footage of him painting is so trippy because one moment it looks like he's painting on a flat surface but then as the camera moves you see so much more of the image. Can't wait for the full reveal!🤯
One of his best projects lately!!
I really love all of your art and when you do the fun crazy projects, but I am stunned whenever you do something like this where you really flex and show off your process of how talented an artist you are. Very well done. This one has shown me a medium I've NEVER seen before and now I MUST try it.
We have people making reality into VR experiences, and then we have Jazza bringing a VR like experience into real life. This is so epic! Love the creativity and perspective this creates! I would love to see this in person. Wish someone could do this with those domes in the playplace at McDonald's growing up. Make the playground and our imaginary play feel real. Awesome result!!!
This is WHY i started following you my dear artist
Amazing! The hemisphere really makes this piece wonderfully immersive!
This is probably one of my favorite projects you've done in a long time. And I like it even more, because you were very practical about your approach to it. Basically it shows, that with a little bit of ambition and ingenuity, a person's creativity can flourish!
This is one of the best artworks you have ever done!!! Please do this again
You outdid yourself Jazza! In the preview at the start I had an entirely different way of seeing it, and you blew all of our minds with that finished result! Amazing job!
What a fantastic idea. I do appreciate watching the build up of color and the process on this one. Thanks Jazza.
the lighting inside is done AMAZINGLY
your channel has always been a lot of fun, but over the past few years it has turned from really fun to absolutely amazing your big projects are always mind blowing, and you always seem to really enjoy them, CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE, GREAT WORK ON THE CATASTROSPHERE
Holy moly, Jazza! I really hope this video does AMAZING because I want so much more of this!
I’m thinking of a ton of experiments to try with this! Such as having the background, mid ground , and foreground on three separate domes! Or to not paint the back of the dome on the sky or highlights, and put a light behind there. There’s so much you can do with this!!!
Echoing sentiments that this is one of my favorite art things I've seen you make. And honestly I'd love to see this idea tried with other subjects too! Its got a lot of potential
This is amazing! You outdid yourself with the painting and the effect is a great added bonus to the already beautiful work! Well done!!! 😍🤘
Such a cool idea, keep it up. I love when you take large wild swings at creativity and somehow you manage to make them look great. Cheers!
This is so absolutly stunning! I was incredibly excited seeing this one being updated through the BTS of the patreon, and seeing it all finished is so satisfying! What a beautiful job done!
This reminds me of a family heirloom at my grandmas house. It's convex instead of concave, but it's painted in a really similar fashion, then the entire thing was painted over (on the inside) with something silver and shiny, so when looking at it from the front, the whole painting has a metallic sheen and incredible depth.
I would love to see a rainforest one!

Not only is this an amazing use of the medium but also I love the artwork itself. It feels like such a classic fantasy scene I remember from older fantasy books and game covers, instant nostalgia!:) Really well done!
Jazza, thank you for your videos, I love it so much. I can really feel the huge love for art in each of your videos and it makes me excited to keep making art of my own
