in Becardi Mojito we use water, lemon, mint leaf, ice and little bit of soda, then as per your recommendation soda or any carbonated drink is not good with rum. In this scenario should i replace soda with other juice or can continue as I like mojito a lot

Please note that during distillation process we also get aldehydes and ketones. They are responsible for the hangover. If the process of purification is good we can remove them and no hangover will be there. But it costs money. Cheaper rum will have higher concentration and more chances of hangover. Moreover, if you drink for long duration, you will still intake these impurities in more quantity and suffer hangover even with costly brand.
