Neat is ok in western countries where temperature is minus degree,but in india due to hot weather u can add water and soda to avoid heat related problem. Diluted whiskey with ice and soda is good for health..

I always highly recommend soda & ice.

A good whiskey is best on the rocks. Cuts down the harsh burn and leaves the flavour without letting it out unlike water or other solvents.

I have one question, can we use regular water or should we use distilled water ? what effect will regular water have ?
