I appreciate the ideas shared. I think it’s important to consider that these ideas center European ideals about femininity. You mentioned the lappa or wrapper in Africa, and as a Black woman, I think it’s valuable to considering expanding our perspective of femininity that is culturally attuned

My favorite fabric is silk or satin, but I love lace too and soft fabrics like velvet and cashmere, modal and of course cotton!

aweee you mentioned “lappa” which is a colorful garment widely worn in West Africa by both men and women. I’m Liberian and we refer to it as lappa as well

Thank you so much for this video. I always enjoy your videos. I learned so much about fashion from you. Do you think maybe one day you can do a video on how your feet should fit on sandals and how to choose the right size. I usually wear a size 8.5 and for some brands the 8.5 fits just right. The heels on my feet sit just right on the sandals but if I try a size 9 it’s very loose.

Good morning! This has been asked of me before lol. I actually only wear 2 scents Chanel chance and D and G blue. We have two be very careful with what scents we bring into the house , my husband has terrible allergies. I bought him baccarat for one of his birthdays and we had to wash the sheets and his clothes, he was dying.
