Yeah, it was all wrong. Not the tracing though, I think fitting the method to actual faces might help, but first, we have to learn the method properly.

That is not a loomis method

I can see how this method works for tracing, but what if you are not tracing? I like the how this method shows that each person’s won’t necessarily match the Loomis plan. I am learning, so I would love to know how to combine the 2 methods.😊

proko and others have good videos on it, the loomis is very easy without tracing. the loomis is mainly to map the facial features in a proportionate way but it can be adjusted however you want if you follow the basic rules.

This isnt loomis method so if you see that then you'll be able to get the proportions right and remember not every style is meant for you there are a dozen that i tried before finding the one that suits me its all about trial and error.

simple tip for the nose: just draw a bird and the nostrils, add the details later. DO NOT TRY AND ADD THE DETAILS IN THE BEGINNING IT WILL JUST CONFUSE YOU

This isn't the loomis method. In the loomis method, you don't use the whole sphere. It shouldd be like a sphere with both sides cut.

This is not the Loomis method. He is misleading you and simply tracing the photo with whatever lines he wants.

No one will going to support you until you prove yourself. Parents darte hai AP koi aisa field na choose kr lo jisse apko future me dikkat ho.pahle mere v parents support ni kiye the after completing my 12 th I used to draw and paint 12 hours a day slowly my work starts getting better then I talked to my parents I want to do art professionally. . So the only thing you have to do is to prove yourself that you can do and your future is secured this field is secured

It's only remotely related to Loomis method in that sense that if you actually used Loomis method the end result would be a bit like this. Although this is still missing parts of it like cutting the sides and not explaining the proportions. This is more like just tracing a picture with trying to fit it in Loomis head.
