Hi Marcel, I ordered the english version of your "Draw like a Mangaka" book and it arrived (delivered to a local book store) earlier this week. The drawings in the book are top notch and you have done a good job of relying on the drawings to show the reader how to draw and what to aim for. Both the title and cover art show a focus on Manga but, as someone who tries to draw realism, it shows all the basics clearly and concisely. In any case, I just wanted to give both your video and your book a thumbs up.

Danke Herr Marcel for dein teachings. Currently, I'm trying to practice my drawing skills for at least a hundred days during the summer, and I'm specifically practicing the basics of drawing a male and female character ( which includes body proportions, basic detail, head and face, hands, feet, hair, and clothing) based on your art journey guide video. I am grateful for your teachings because they are "digestible" and not "hard to swallow," and because of that, I have noticed a significant improvement in my skills. Hopefully, by the end of the year, I may have become good at drawing any character (pre-existing or original), as well as have advanced to learning perspective and poses.
