one important tip: THUMBNAIL SKETCHES Before you go into drawing the full scene, draw some small rectangles and make a couple of throwaway images in them to get the main idea of what you want to draw (the pose, the composition, and the framing) onto paper. This'll save A LOT OF TIME and ensure that you're drawing exactly what you want to draw.

I remember watching this as a kid and looking at how he did perspective and now I know I was looking at it completely wrong now as a professional artist I have a replica of my own characters in this drawing and it’s always a nice little reminder on how far I’ve come
Dang, I remember watching this as a kid when it was only out for a week… here we are today and I’m a professional artist now :D I will say that this video didn’t push me in the right places to become a pro, but I did have a lot of fun drawing and reiterating that character in the foreground. His coolness stuck with me for quite some time (and I still have my first “proper” sketchbook all of the way from 2013 with a drawing of him; I drew on loose printer paper before that). If you’re someone who likes to draw and you’re wondering where to go next (whether it’s to become a pro or just as a hobby), I definitely suggest looking at channels like Bobby Chiu, Proko, or Trent Kaniuga. All of these people are professionals with very rich content that will surely get you to the next level you’re aiming for and beyond. Happy art-ing, y’all

circles/elipses are tough. There are stencils you can buy, some comic book guys use them. My animation instructors used to insist we spent the first 10 minutes of everyday free-handing circles as a warm up. Key is not to draw with your wrist, but rather your shoulder and elbow. And draw them quickly. You'd be surprised how fast you get near perfect circles, and how sure handed you are when your warm up is done
I so love the session... Just this one session and I already understand how to place the characters and at what angle... I didn't know how to before 😋

11 years old great work 😍
koizu: It's easy, i'm not putting any extraordinary into it. after he said that Me: WTF THIS IS AMAZING ALREADY
Best video that has ever helped me with art, thanks so much
Step 1: Practice shading sketches of already made drawings. And make it look real, that will give you the practice of gentle strokes while you draw. Step 2: Take a refrence picture and convert it into simple shapes. You will then have a good understanding of how it's done. Step 3: Visualise your own picture and then do the same thing Step 4: You can do the same like this guy with some inspiration

Excuse me, sometimes to acquire your own talent you must emulate the gifts or designs of others. If we applied your logic to piano nobody would profit from the works of ANY classical composers. I agree, for myself, it is not the most original piece. But again if we were not allowed to copy one another, giving proper respect to the original artist and doing it for practice sake, this world would lose much due to the fact that we could not build upon one another's designs. I would say that we should individually be inventive but, generally speaking, copying can be a compliment to whoever did the original drawing; because it shows a certain interest and appreciation in what was produced. I usually hate to be curt but you need a little bit of castigating on this point. :)
