This is so freeing, love the idea. Yes when I draw or paint, it's like I can stop the world. It's calming and energizing all at the same time!

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the comment!
I cannot draw naturally like you but, I do something everyday the best that I can because it helps me relax and focus on a single thing. I tend to be an over thinker and I get anxious too, but drawing and doodling calms me down. I find that I enjoy it most on my ipad. I have been doing it everyday for a couple of years now and I can see that I have improved a great deal. I like to do 'still life', flowers, and animals. Some days are better than others for results. Lately I have been concentrating on faces. I am learning to visualise the shape that I want on the canvas before I start. For example, if I draw the eyes then I try to visualise the nose and shade it in rather than draw lines. When it starts to come together I feel more confident to put in the detail. I like doing eyes because I like the way they 'come alive' when a dot of white reflection is added. It is amazing. But I spoil it with eyelashes. I just cannot do them... they look like spider legs. Thank you.
Drawing is like any of the arts, getting lost in a world where anything is possible. Art is the best therapy

Another great tutorial, Mr. Pereznieto!!! When it comes to drawing, I usually feel relaxed; I like starting off loose and even a little scribbly. But sometimes I get so frustrated I have to stop. Does that ever happen to you? What can I do when that happens?
@FineArtTips
6 жыл бұрын
Yes, it does happen to me too, more often than what you think. I'm a pretty perseverant (or stubborn) person. So, when I can't do something, usually I keep at it doing it again and again. If I can I simplify it a bit until I do.
Where do you get your pencils
Beautifully done! I’m going to try but........

another great video, I had a girl who worked for me in retail and she would doodle things then throw them away , I picked some from the trash can , I like them, and this style. When I draw, I am so concentrated on what i am doing that I block out the outside world and I have no care in the world =)

Sometimes art is more about expression than about perfection.
@giacutie
6 жыл бұрын
Fine Art-Tips Yeah, agree Just when you perfect the expression (meaning you are there already, you know how important it is and you keep on going), details are also important. At least how I see it *
