We still let motor run w/heater full on an wait for thermo to open, takes about 15 minutes of idling to warm but it purged the air out perfectly every time . This works on all MBZ up to M273, after that you do need to follow other procedures.

@-frankofficial-983 i have a m274 w205 c300 4matic and you dont need the venturi valve, you can let the car warm open the thermo and the air will come out but you may need the venturi value to flush the whole system clean...

For any liquid you remove. Collect it in whatever container you can that has a measurement on it like a clean oil jug that has the markings for units on the side. Otherwise know how to completely drain the system and use your owners manual

Which valve are you talking about, bottom of the radiator? If so I'd check to make sure you opened it correctly, some you have to turn and then pull it out to get the coolant to drain. Or maybe a clogged drain, can try poking a thin wire to see.

The drain valve is two stage. First 90 degrees nothing happens. Second 90 degrees and the valve comes outward and draining starts. Dont overturn the 180 total degrees

There's a plastic plug above where the tech plugged the hose in. It jas a flat tab u turn 360° counter clockwise with some pliers. Try not to break it. Make sure coolant cap is open n just drain

Those cheap vacuum FILLING kits do just that, they FILL. This setup also drained the ENTIRE system. An actual FULL flush, bleed, & refill in far less time that it takes to only drain the radiator while not even having to get under the car.

This is just a complicated but flowless measure of filling the coolant with no air bubbles , it cand still be done the regular way , flush then pour in the coolant , but after a little while u might need to refill a bit thats all

Silly comment. Who's saying you can't drain and fill Mercedes engine coolant the old fashioned way? This video just shows how Mercedes techs do it, so it's quick and easy, for then because they have the $1,000 vacuum pump. Same thing with Mercedes oil changes, they vacuum up the oil from the dipstick, but you can still drain the oil using the drain plug. I don't, I bought an inexpensive 12v fluid pump and suck the oil from the dipstick, no more going under the car to change the oil. It's the easiest oil change out of all my previous vehicles.

You just watched how the manufacturer trains the techs to do a FULL flush, pressure check, bleed, & vacuum fill in less time than it takes for most people to jack up their car. Again, FULL drain & flush. It can still be done the old school way.
