Very well thought out suggestions. In the warmer weather I usually place my plants outside infront of our house near a sidewalk with a free sign on them. I haven't had to part with rare or more expensive plants yet. Just starting to think in that direction. Like you, some of my plant keeping is about challenge. Those I find new homes for after I have mastered their care, or they have bloomed, etc. Some just do not sustain my interest over time, and once they are to big for my space I find them a new home. Some family members have been good in that regard. So many things change over time, I guess our plant preferences are no different.

Definitely need to do this My biggest ones are a peace Lily and a monstera I love my monstera and definitely love my white knights and pink princesses. But I think soon I’m gonna want to rehome a few of ones that are meh For some reason spider plants are my issue. Might get a whole new one and see what she says This is truly helpful

Good advice for sure! I am giving away plants a lot less now, but still need to stop myself from buying all these small cuttings that grow to be big plants 😅.

I am a collector and seller. i do self watering, use electric spears and so on, but I also have chronic illness and lately its been very challenging and its hard because I feel pressure to keeo bringing in new stock, but I do not have space and my health is suffering, so trying to find a balance.
