nope...sadly not. it doesn't compare at all. it's quite a bit more solid.

Thank you so much for these tutorials. I have been knitting for over 40 years and have never done this before. Your explanations are so easy to follow. I do have a question - I am trying to learn how to use the Norwegian thimble but I can't seem to get it to work. Do you have any hints or by any chance a tutorial for learning this technique?

Thank you for this. I wonder if you have a video that shows double layer knitting but in the same colour. After watching this video, I’m concerned that I’ll lose track of what stands to use since the colour is the same… maybe it doesn’t matter? I’m trying to make a double layer ribbed hat.

well...it does matter. You can also do double stockinette stitch which will be much easier but, of course, only one color: nimble-needles.com/stitches/how-to-knit-the-double-stockinette-stitch/

Is there a cast on you’d recommend for dk ribbing? or just the same invisible CO you shared in the DK CO video?

weeeelll...i think that depends on your preferences. I am personally not super convinced the invisible bind-off is all that perfect....but the alternatives are not either. So i am torn ^^

not sure I udnerstand that question? you simply knit that many rows using a single color and then switch?
