Personally I don’t care who owns TPT. As long as I’m still able to sell and there’s still a significant amount of people coming to TPT to shop then I don’t care lol.

Thanks for this video! I’m watching all your videos back to back and learning so much. I’m glad you brought up turbo tax because soon I will be moving to Canada to help my dad. I will be keeping my remote teaching job in USA. Hopefully turbo tax can handle that! 😅

Unless you earn money while in Canada, I don't think you will have to file with Revenue Canada.

I’m not sure but I’ve heard in the states that you don’t have to claim any money you’ve made unless it’s over $400

$400? You should check that. My first year I made under $200 and I still needed to claim it. It was on a different form, though.

I am assuming you are in Canada.. Did you have to fill up the (IRS Form W-8BEN-E for businesses) and submit it for Hyperwallet?

Hi Joanne, actually I didn't have to for TPT. Being online income, I was able to fill out "online earnings". However, for my KZread income, I did have to fill out the IRS W-8BEN. I think TPT has to be over a certain amt. It was $20,000/yr. Rumour is that it will be $600/yr for next year's taxes.

Hi Angely, I am a seller outside of the US. If this is your first time claiming your TPT income, check with someone who does taxes in your area about what is required.

How do I pay taxes if i'm not in the States?

You should not have to pay taxes for the US. Whatever country you are in, you need to claim your earnings from an online source/website.

Have you tried a steroid for your ear? Several years back, I had a plugged ear that I could not hear out of. I also had loud ringing in that ear. I had to go on a steroid for an unrelated allergic reaction. The steroid unplugged my ear, no more ringing, and I could hear fine. I am not a doctor. I'm just relaying my own experience. My ear had been plugged for over 6 months before taking the steroid. I hope your ear gets better soon.
