They're cute until they run across your face at 1 in the morning.
$29 for a basic account that you can’t even get back if you upgrade at a later date and is unfair especially since they take so much of a share of the money on the basic account! It’s hard enough starting out without being penalised to even start. It will put of many from even bothering now and they might be people with really good stuff to share.
They are really trying to stop the "spam" accounts which I believe it's working. I'm hoping the $29 might be a temporary thing.
I've watched a lot of videos, especially about Previews/Covers/Thumbnails. Today I found out that you can download products' previews! What I had seen before had just said to put "Preview" over the pages. Videos seemed to say that the point was to be able to see the work better. But people are downloading previews instead of buying.
Yes, some sellers are not typing "preview" and are practically giving their work away.
Not worth it for me. I was hoping to focus more on Boom this year but now I will probably end my subscription when time to renew next year. Thanks for the info. Very helpful.
Yes, it is unfortunate that this is the direction of Boom. It could be my last year, too.
Hello Lori, This is a lot of work!! I just updated 2 of my 88 decks and it took me 1 and a half hours 😮. As always your videos are awesome, very informative and to the point. 😊
Hi Victoria, yikes! That's a long time for 2 decks. Considering I haven't even seen a single sale in June, this isn't worth our time.
Thank you so much for sharing this and your outlook! I have a large Boom store, and the amount of work ahead of me is incredibly daunting. I truly hope Boom makes changes to make this more practical. I am thinking of deactivating many decks and paring down my store to only my best-sellers on TpT.

Yes it did - TPT is switching to Google Analytics 4. It will take a month to stabilize. Right now it's okay.

Thanks for always being on top of everything! If Boom takes a chop of TPT cards what does that mean. Do u think I should rather sell Boom card on a private website or create links to Boom on instagram/ Pinterest. How would I do this ? Is it possible to sell Boom cards using green TPT link and the non TpT link. I sure you can only press one in Boom.please can u make a video on this! Thanks
If i write none on all images and sound so it is correct. Way to doo or it will be wrong. Always your videos i am watching and learning it helps me alot thanks
This could be wrong, depending on the value of your images. Consider if someone blind is using a screen reader to read your deck. What will it say to them?

Thank you for sharing this information. I guess I better get started. I probably have about 300+ decks. At this rate, I need to try to update a deck a day. I started updating a deck while I was watching your video and I got about half way done a 30 card deck and said "nope".... haha. I guess this is something I will have to consider if it is worth my time. A perfect job for a VA, if only I made enough from Boom to justify that expense. Oh the dilemmas!
300 is a lot - yes! Given how much we are not earning this really is a dilemna.
Hi Lori, thank you again for your help and time. I have about 50+ decks and I manage to do one small deck with accessibility , it took me almost 2 days because they have a lot of elements. I think you idea for Boom to add a category of decks that have accessibility. I reached out to boom for help and have them check my deck and see if it was done correctly and no help. It is hard for us to see if what are we putting in this area the correct format. I don’t have a text reader to see if it makes sense to the student. Also waiting to a tutorial with different kinds of deck for us to see.
Hi Ana, it is going to take some time if you have a lot of elements in your decks. Based on the FB Group, I think they are currently overwhelmed by the help needed by sellers! I'm going to make another video on creating a deck around the end of July.
Thanks for the video, but it is impractical for sellers to do this. It should be optiontional. Boom sales are too low to bother.

Hi Nancy, big changes on Boom (just announced), so yes, an updated Boom video (maybe 2) are coming! KZread is allowed but there are conditions. Boom recommends Vimeo Starter or higher account.

I’m only required to hand in a year plan that expands on broadly outlined unit plans, with rough timelines, and then there’s freedom for the lessons, i plan them for myself, not for our admin. Thanks for sharing your system!
Hi gatosandwichera, usually my district just requires a year plan too, but on rare occasion we get asked for a unit plan.
share your resource with teachers in the classroom. If they liked the product they can give you a review. Not as good as one on TPT but it is better than nothing

Hello, I need to learn as much as I can about how Power Point is used for PRIMARY TEACHING. Making Power Point slides, Interactive and possibly making TPT Power Point items for sale? Anything you can teach me.
Are you on Instagram? I would recommend that you watch the reels of ElementaryLittles. She did a huge series on « things you can do in PowerPoint « reels, back in 2022. She also has a course but honestly, the reels are excellent.

No , I don’t change covers. The title words and cover words do not have to be match exactly.
