    Yeah shes definitely showing us how to do it but trying to actually do what shes teaching us is so damn hard. Most people wont be able to do it. I could do it for someone else or the front of my head but theres just no way Id be able to get the back of my head properly. 😂

    Great job. I highlight my own hair, but it literally takes me weeks to finish. I only do one foil at a time because I then tone with Wella Color Charm (one teaspoon of light golden blonde mixed w/ 1/4 teaspoon light golden brown) and 10 volume peroxide. If I put that mixture on all of my hair it lightens it so I just do a foil at a time. It's time consuming and probably obsessive compulsive, but it turns out great and very satisfying to do myself. :O)

    You have great patience!! Thats awesome! And I totally think that you have the right idea. Do it slow and do it right. I could ( probably) PROBABLY do the front but definitely not the back. Theres just no way. Props to you! Youre a badass for being able to do that!

    Easy peezy!!! Only takes patience And trial and error? I Only got my first chips streaks two months ago and I’m almost 51!!!!! I just can’t believe I didn’t get it done before I’ve had my hair dyed every colour under the rainbow and then sell some! Until I went to the salon and got my streaks from the dark hair and the blondest they could go was a copper copper-ish colour bronze,type❤️But I’m definitely gonna try this with my toothbrush great way to use old toothbrushes you don’t need any more

    You were definitely in the right direction but the "new highlights" need to be painted all the way to the ends. You probably ended up having highlights at the top and not at the bottom. It's good to weave out the pieces that have been prelightened so then u can fully saturate the dark pieces all the way in the foil. Ur sectioning was great btw!

    Good luck! I like how there's no actual after picture for this and also that you do not talk about color balancing, underlying pigments, toner or anything like that and having that many different colors in your hair and put pre lightning on it is going to pick up different levels of underlying pigment of Orange yellow orange and pale yellow and it can leave your hair in very bad Integrity because the ones that are already lighter are going to lighten too much and tend to be very brittle and damaged 😂😂😂 but anyone who would like to try it go ahead and I wish you the best of luck and I hope you don't have to spend lots of money getting it fixed. P.s The production u are using Pravana is not sold at Sally Beauty either it's only sold at professional beauty supply stores thst license professionals can buy.

  • @meghanngregg4361

    @meghanngregg4361

    When using lightener on the hair, it won't bleed. The bleach has to stay on the hair long enough to take out the color that has been on the hair. You only have to worry about bleeding when it's a very pigmented color, like reds or maybe a very dark color. Using cold water when washing though, should help with any bleeding you would get. But as for the bleach, you never have to worry about bleeding because it removes color and does it slowly instead of depositing color quickly.
