Very good haircut and nice looking style. I used to have that hairstyle, and seeing ALMOST is enough to encourage me to grow my hair back. But I know the maintenance is high and it almost never would look so perfect. So, I guess I'll continue with my biweekly high bald fade with a #1 top. It requires no maintenance and always looks perfect. :-) (but this is an awesome haircut)

I have long hair, but MC is one of the few barbers with which I would make a makeover without thinking

I actually have two of Mr. Edmond Rofflers razors that he had made for himself in France.that are brand new in a box never been used and they are stainless steel. I also have several feathers but it has a tiny guard on it so yes while it is a razor it has a guard on it so there is probably somewhat of a difference but you can do it and with a ton de oh yes if a razor blade is a razor blade because I do not believe the gentleman here is using a Edmund Roffler razor

Modern barbers can do just as good using a clipper/comb or a scissors/comb. The old Roffler technique was big back in the 1960's as I recall. The biggest disadvantage as I see it is that with a straight razor cut you have a lot of split ends which is another whole problem that you don't need.

Forgive me, but that’s not true. When you cut the hair with a razor it cut it to a point like sharpening, a pencil versus cutting with scissors is like chopping wood with an ax, its blunt it does not create split ends if the hair is properly damp I do this in my barber shop.

This hairstyle can be done with clippers and shears on top (point cut this part). You will need to come back with thinner’s over the tips of hair to give it the same effect.

Please let me say this again using thinning shears, 4420 Sargent blending shears. Whatever you use will not cut the hair to appoint. They will take lines out in the hair and such where a razor cuts the hair to a point like sharpening a pencil.
