I am a mum thanks to teenagers and I would of said the same to mine like I have in the past...nothing alarming in saying someone won't be able to do there hair cos it's too long.....get Real love

He may have wanted to keep the length. I did a very similar haircut on a 8 year old and he was adamant about t keeping the length on top. We have to listen to the clients, even if they are younger than our kids 😂

Definitely no one with his skillset at the prices he's charging. You have paradox in SJ, but a master (OG) barber is $75+tip

Glad to see this boy getting his hair cut. OMG! I couldn't tell what I was looking at. It looked like a stray dog had slept on this head. He's got a ton of hair. Looks so much better after the cut and style. At least you can see he's a boy. They should bring back buck butts from the 50s.

You don’t want to assume that he won’t take the time to style it. The client will tell you how much maintenance they will do. Plus.. a many good cuts can be worn unstyled.

it was not his own personal style at all, it was an unkempt mess, probably because of lockdown. I'm not sure leaving the top so long is a good idea with kids, as they hardly ever style their hair, and this cut needs too much attention in the morning, and most likely will flop as the day goes on, but its sure better than the state it had gotten into...certainly not his choice.

This kid has alot of hair, because hes still so young and naturally blonde. Blondes have more hairs on their scalp than dark haired people. Anyway regardless of his thick, fine textured hair, having the front straight and the crown curly like that is kind of a curse. I've been cutting hair for 50+ years and I would have given a more basic, shorter, blended cut. Something he could just wash and shake and run out the door.

Great job with the fade and razor cut. Unfortunately, due to the curly hair he needed to have shorter at the back and crown. I did not see you cut any of the front hair. He is too young for that pompadour hair. I thought you were going to cut some of the bulk from the front so that he could wear it towards the face. I’m disappointed.
