For the new players when he says "do nothing" it means neutral or not pressing anything for 1 frame and since 1 frame is quite short you don't really need to focus on the neutral part. Just focus on pressing down forward and triangle at the same time. Anyway quick tip, what I like to do is to try and press down and triangle at the same time but somehow I input triangle abit late so I input triangle and down forward in the same frame.

Exactly, get your brain take the order to pres 2 when hitting down, so when the order comes thorugt your nerves it'll be inputted with downfoward command

I do it without joystick and it works pretty well but it will take time to do it and now I can do awesome EWGF combos

Kasuya's EWGF has an easier input since you can skip down and go straight to down forward
