What do you think about c-printing?

There is nothing creative about color printing on film, everything is calculated: exposure, filtering, there is no room for error. Color in film is technical and mathematical, no room for chance or creation, that's why I prefer black and white in the lab, the freedom of maneuver is much greater.

at my lab we have this huge color printer but I am too intimidated by it. I mix raw chemistry so already enough complexity I have to deal with like ph levels and development time offsets for each roll. I would love to do it one day but sadly that day is still far off :D

Nice, Newb question lol. Cant you flip the negative over to get the words on the shirt proper or will there be strange reflections from having the non emulsion side flipped?

Oh it’s probably my mistake for putting the negative in wrong 😱😂
Very enjoyable video. I love working in the darkroom. Looks like you had the neg in the wrong way round judging by the writing on the shirt being reversed.

did you put the negative emulsion side up? the text on the sweatshirt seems to be mirrored.

Farbe in der DUKA… Nie gemacht ausser CIBAchrome irgendwann Ende der 70er. Bravo. Sieht einfach aus… (Ein Profi-Labor habe ich immer als ökonomischer empfunden. “Damals” war E6 irgendwie “natürlicher” als C41. Auch schneller, jedenfalls für die Presse…) Bravo!
