This is one of the most requested classes I’ve ever made: How to do a headstand!
I personally love headstands. They are incredibly fun and require proper headstand technique, headstand drills for activating the core and glutes, as well as hamstring and lower leg flexibility so you can walk your feet forward and float into a headstand easily.
This class was made for beginners who want to learn handstands or for advanced yogis who want to strengthen their handstand - and may pick up some handstand tips and tricks along the way!
So whether you want to learn how to do a headstand or you simply want to incorporate headstands and inversions into your at home yoga practice, we’ll get upside down today.

    Loved this! The first 20 minutes were a great workout and your cues for the headstand practice were very helpful. I typically do headstands the other way, with my crown and two hands forming a tripod and thus was glad to try your method. It took a few tries but I was finally able to stay upright and I now look forward to Level 2!

    @@KateAmberYoga , I particularly liked your emphasis on core strength, as headstands simply require it. I used your ab session to also work on a few other arm balances (flying pigeon, EPK 2, Peacock) afterwards. A nice Sunday evening indeed!

    @@bayournnr I literally had too Google peacock bc although I've tried it it's not in my practice. That's awesome. Strength, both mental and physical, is such an important part of yoga.

    Excellent class! It was very fun to do. This is one of the poses I worked really hard to do and now I'm able to enter it with my legs extended. Today I even tried from the wide legged forward fold, that's still challenging to me. Thank you so much ✨

    Entering with legs extended is HUGE! That's so much core and back strength. Keep at it - that strength goes into all areas of your life! 💪

    I am coming back to this workout and I am improving a lot. What is being for me a bit challenging is to find balance and to lift off slowly very slowly. Thank you Kate ones more for the nice workout! 😉🙃

    @Katie: Yes, would also love to watch Kate in such a wheel challenge. Probably 10mins might be hard even with Kate's flexibility and strength!
