After hearing the words "What do you look forward to sacrificing," it all made sense. What am I not just willing to sacrifice, but to actively be eager to give up/carry on my back? Thank you for this video

I’m discerning a religious life sister/nun. At times I have doubts about it and I fear if I dont feel called to it I wont be able to find a career afterwards. But I really admire the religious life and I feel joyful being the sisters! I’m graduating and I’m planning if I should pursue religious life now or get a career first. 🙏 😅 Also how do I pray 15 decades of the rosary?

If you think God may be calling you to religious life, I would pursue that first :) If you give time to God in discernment, He will give you back your heat's desire. And if you want to pray 15 decades, go one at a time :) You can say one here and there and then take a break!

My advice is to build up and not just go for it. When I first started the rosary last year which helped me overcome my porn and masturbation addiction of 15 years, I started with just praying the rosary to pray them then I got deeper and started asking why and reflected upon the mystery of each decade as I went along and said the prayers then I added contemplating the fruits of each mystery as I went along and started to just focus on the prayers and not just rushing to say them and actually enjoy doing the rosary putting aside about 20-30 minutes each day to do it and truly take to heart why I am doing this and what it is. It’s not about how many decades you recite but more about the heart as you say them as I learned that the Rosary is a lullaby for the soul and peacefully and gently puts me to sleep even in my most restless nights.

Let’s see… I struggled with a porn addiction in the past and defeated it after a decade, reeled in my passion even though the temptation from Satan to do it again come from time to time, and don’t think that I would want to forgo sex and marriage since companionship is a need of mine along with the desire to enter into a very deep and intimate relationship hence the marriage vocation for me.

@@CameronRieckerI lost hope which is a sin against God and lived the way I did thinking I am condemned to singleness when I was an addict. Little did I know that after I started praying the rosary and asking St. Raphael for help in becoming more pure, Jesus appeared to me in a dream because of Mary’s promise for signal graces while I was sleeping and showed me how my repentance through the Holy Spirit took me from the black terrible painful darkness of Hell and enter through the narrow door into Heaven showing me a glimpse of it exactly the way Scriptures speak of being clothed in white and seeing the white dazzling light blinding me reflecting the Glory of God. Jesus called me “his friend”, which I did not know it was him when he spoke to me when he told me “your sister is looking for you.” When I was confused and thought he was speaking in terms of blood sister when I have none he actually meant in times of spiritual adoption he told me like the Gospel this past Sunday “You are greatly mistaken.” The same words he spoke to the Sadducees in Mark about marriage AND the Resurrection confirming to me I am wrong about doubting both being welcomed by him and also about singlehood being my vocation instead of marriage. I am at the point myself where I want to sacrifice myself to God and consecrate myself to Him even in my singleness But you also help others come to Him and want to be a father and husband laying down my life that way which the world really needs right now is true Catholic marriages and examples for the lost younger generations to learn from and follow.

@@CameronRieckerI received a signal Grace form Mary where Jesus appeared to me in a dream and showed me a glimpse of Heaven and also told me “You are greatly mistaken” about both being welcomed by him into Heaven and about my vocation telling me I was not meant to be single and alone but to seek out my sister looking for me which means wife since I have no blood sister.

This helps me a lot; but it’s still a very difficult time in my life. I definitely understand the feeling of “God being distant.” I constantly pray for things to get better, and some results have come, but very slowly. I’ve been dealing with personal issues for about 12-15 years now and it’s difficult to keep hopeful. Things would fall so neatly and quickly into place if I was able to get these issues resolved. But for over a decade now, disappointment and frustration at the slowness of the process leaves me close to giving up at times. But thankfully I push on, even if I’m tired of being patient.
