@@verypocoloco9726 Yes they are nearly identical. When you peel off the long feet, make sure the adhesive strip peels up with it so it doesn't keep the holes covered.

brooo u saved my life my laptop wasnt working for somedays ot said boot device not found and i tried all solutions from youtube but nothing helped but i opend the back cover and cleaned and i stryed my laptop and i started work ty broo ❤❤

i just did, kind of wierd satisfaction, but yea the fan connector seemed to be tight , so just lifted bit and cleaned... hell of a dust

every single laptop ive ever had, the one thing that goes wrong is the charging port. It gets loose and I can no longer charge my laptop. Thanks to you (I magically had the exact same model) I could open up the back carefully and fix the loose screw. Thank you!

You were right about that little plastic piece breaking, the little snappy things just wouldn’t go and the piece just broke

This video was really helpful with taking apart my laptop! I have a 15-da0034cl(?), and the battery needs to be replaced. Is the replacement battery the same for all of the hp 15 laptops? It says to replace with the L1119-855, but on the parts website in the description it pulls up a bunch of different batteries, I don't want to ge the wrong one for my laptop

Ok so I was taking my case off because the screen would glitch or just not work if I touched or moved it and I wanted to see if I could fix whatever was wrong so I undid all the screws and it started working again????

Hi thank you so much for the disassembly video. I wanted your opinion about something. I added more ram 2 days ago, since then some keys like Tab, q, ~, 1 have stopped functioning. I noticed it while playing valorant. The keys begin to work randomly at some times and will stop working randomly as well. I further noticed the keys work well when outside the game, e.g., any text editor. Can you please share your opinion on what could be the possible reason? I've removed the added ram but still it isn't working. Any thoughts or ideas will help. Thank you once again.

This is very helpful, thank you so much! My problem is the keyboard keys, some do not work, and f1 seems shorted out since it's giving the windows 10 help message. Screws on mine are very similar minus the optical drive which mine doesn't have it. HP 15-dw0081 ws. I removed them all but the thing wouldn't open and I don't want to force it. Seems like I'm missing a screw or there are internal clips 🤔 I just want to open it, add more ram and close it. Help please.

I would add to be careful around the ports when unsnapping the bottom. I managed to crack the plastic around the network port (I really hate all these cheap plastic snap together computers)

HOW in the world did you remove the little screws underneath the feet. Their not just flush, they are below flush and wont come up. What tool did you use? I can't get the bottom to come off because of 2 little screws.

If your fan connector is similar, it will come out by using your fingernails under the little tabs on either side of the connector and pulling while wiggling side to side. It looks like you have 2 RAM slots on the motherboard, you will have to pull your bottom case and see if one RAM slot is open. If not you need to upgrade the RAM that's in there already.

I reset this laptop and it was working fine, albeit a little slow. I installed windows 11 on it and it wouldn’t restart, showing problems with the C drive that it couldn’t fix. I ran it through Eurosoft PC Check and it showed that the motherboard and CPU had failed and that there was no hard drive present. I’ve taken the hard drive out and hooked it up to another pc and it’s working fine. Very odd.

i couldn't find the CMOS battery in this laptop and I'm getting bios prob for the same. i can't switch on the laptop without external power but once after booting , I can use it on battery normally. The only solution is to replace the cmos battery but I couldn't find any!

Hi, this pc don't have cmos cr2032 battery, right? I have a similar model (without optical drive) and the replaced hp original battery does not charge, even if in the diagnostic tool everything is ok and charging! If the battery is 100% charged with bench power supply, the powered PC does not drop it below 100%, but if you disconnect the power supply and the battery discharges a little, it does not recharge, even if you are connected to the mains, via the power supply! If the charge drops completely, your PC will shut down, even if you have a power supply connected! It's driving me crazy! Have you ever had a similar problem with the original HT03XL battery? Thanks!
