One of my mates looked amazing naturally from around 14-28. Played rugby and Swam nationally during high school. He did a course of Sus250 I think it was 8 weeks when we turned 29. Seeing him grow in what felt like every 3 days was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever witnessed it’s almost comical to think that there are people out there with these genetics. He went from a buff beach body to Mike Mentzer a week out from Olympia and was eating Chicken Burgers and Sushi. We’re now 39 with kids and a wife. He trains twice a week full body split and walks 10’000 steps a day and although he’s lost the “juicy” size he looks like an off season Frank Zane. It Honestly pisses me off. 😂

My trainer is a well known open weight IFBB Pro from the mid 90’s who trains many current open weight competitors. I have seen countless transformations by some of the best. It would take even the best genetics a heck of a lot more gear than what his buddy took to look anywhere near contest ready.

Me and couple friend had been training a couple years at about 20, were all pretty similar stats, squating 120kg and benching 100kg (typical new gym bros). My friend brought a new apprentice from his work, kid was 16 and never lifted I'm his life, just looked solid. Benching 80kg and squatting 100kg by the end of first session, couldn't believe it. 6 months later it was just obscene, he eclipsed us in every lift and was just huge. He just couldn't be bothered to train anymore and stopped, such a gift.

I feel like theres more people than we think that have IFBB pro genetics as I find it more of posing that seems to be the important factor(Idk about open bodybuilding as I am really only into classic and a bit men's physique). I've seen/know a good amount of IFBB pros that honestly if they didnt tell me they had their pro card I would've never thought it while I know others who look way better yet can't get their card(but i've also seen them pose so the skill difference is definitely there). I also believe there is a HUGE gap between IFBB Pro card and competeing at a pro level. In order to make as a pro I honestly believe that genetics will play alot more of a factor but to just get that pro card I believe its achieveable if you're posing is good and you compete in the right shows. I do agree with the guy saying "itd be stupid to take alot of stuff" cause if you need a lot of stuff just to get that pro card I don't think its worth it cause you'll need to up those doses to compete at the pro level really putting your health at risk

Measurements and weight are stupid, they have nothing to do with bodybuilding. A 15 inch conditioned arm will humiliate an 18 inch fatcep on stage. People tend to greatly overestimate how much muscle they have. Terence Ruffin measured his arm at 16 and I guarantee you his arms blow away anyone in the comments section claiming to have 18+ inch arms here. Stop thinking in terms of weight/measurement/strength and go by actual look. Maybe with a better mindset Stan would have been a decent pro.

Hello derek. Can you do a video on what could happen if someone overweight would do "any" type of cycle? Benefits and down sides. Never seen a video or experiment like this and never found anything on the internet. Example someone wants to get an advantage while also working out and keeping diet in check... could be interesting. Thanks and best regards

to be honest, looking the old pictures of the most pro bb in all categories (male and female), you must be on high doses of gear to know how much you could gain. genetics is only the capacity of your organs to tolerate grear amount of gear. exactly like in rhe farms with cows and hormones. the dosage are veey high but all the cows will increase their muscle mass and their water retention

My legs, arms and shoulders/traps do, my torso definitely doesn't lol. Got to curling 70lbs per arm for reps natty, meanwhile bench is 2 plates for reps, and if I take a week off, I drop 2 reps. I tried an epistane/4-andro cycle once, made good gains, then had horrible insomnia during PCT and called it quits on that. Longevity is important anyway.
