RAZER, why do you make this so difficult? The slightest thing changes on your PC that is not related to the device, and it then acts like it has never seen you before, and you cannot use the profiles you spent ages setting up. EVERY time I have to go through this.

I used their Razer device inspection tool or whatever its called.. followed all their steps including reboot assuming they would have their stuff figured out.. but apparently not.. BOTH my webcam Razer Kiyo Pro and headphones Nari Essential are not showing up in Razer Syanpse.. so pathetic thye are

This’ll be my 5th or 6th Naga mouse. Going all the way back to wotlk or cata in wow. The original was amazing. Slowly it’s like they’ve gotten iffy. I’ve had two of the trinitys. The Sauter on the left mouse was complete dog S. I just purchased a 90$ classic edition naga and I can’t get it detected for the life of me. Ended up raiding last night with that bad left mouse button to make do. I love the buttons but I’m really starting to agree with your comment. I just want good product. It’s what makes the typically 100$+ purchase worth it. Quality. Not sure what’s going on with em but it’s infuriating. I suppose it’s at least good I may switch brands now before I build this computer over the winter. 🤷‍♂️😢

I imagine this would be easy to follow if my headset worked

First and last Razer product I ever bought, already in touch with the store where I bought it to return it. It's 2022, Razer cannot make its own software detects its own devices. I truly don't want to spend my time installing - repairing - updating - uninstalling - troubleshooting in order to make a freaking software to recognise the headset from the very same brand. It's a joke, and I'm amazed by the number o people facing the same issues.

Try exiting riot vanguard. Its new system blocks razer synapse from recognizing your devices.

After 3 months my razer blackwidow v3 pro wireless stopped recognizing the usb dongle. This is how I fixed my issue: I returned the keyboard and stopped buying any Razer product due to the fact that they are mediocre and poorly designed (e.g. any logitech wireless keyboard would've been way better than this crap that Razer is promoting). I encourage you to do the same :).

this video is no help. it's the equivalent of asking the person with the flat tire if their tire is connected to vehicle.

Here is how I fixed it for me. Device manager, select the mouse, update driver, navigate to the Razer folder in program files and make it look for drivers there. Now the mouse is named instead of having a generic name. Then go to where you uninstal synapse and select modify, then install ALL the razer stuff in there. Then it finally found my Naga trinity.

My mouse work until I install synapse 3 that update mouse drivers which than are blocked by windows drivers signature enforcement. Great!

Tech support helped me solve an issue with Synapse 3 not detecting my Razer Raptor 27. In addition to my display connection (the Displayport cable), I ALSO needed to connect my monitor using the included USB-C cable. Posting this in case anyone in the future runs into the same issue.

@@zuka7925 I had the same issue today. Talked to support and said there's an issue with Riot Vanguard that's causing it. So if you uninstall riot vanguard, Valorant, and restart your computer it should work, then you can reinstall valorant

This worked with the Chroma ARGB Controller. Just need to update the software to the latest version for it to be seen.

I have an issue with the Ornata V2 keyboard, it doesnt register on Razer synapse but the led's are working fine, i just cant change the color or anything else. I tried every step from updating to repair and it still wont register on the software, does anyone know what's going on please ?

Worked for me! Keyboard wouldn't pick up but Mouse and Mouse Pad would.

putting this out here if someone is having issues, I recently started having problems with razer logging me out after 10 seconds upon logging in. (i couldnt use all software) I reinstalled razer and the software worked again, however my keyboard wasnt detected as a device in synapse anymore. it somehow got detected once i installed the chroma connect, chroma studio, chroma visualizer back. good luck

Didn't work, but if you just gave us direct access to the drivers I could fix my issue in about 5 seconds. EDIT: If anyone ends up with a corrupted driver synapse won't bother repairing it ever. What you have to do is literally uninstall every single driver for your razer device. Device Manager is how you do so on windows. For my keyboard, it had drivers under Keyboards, Human Interface Devices, and Universal Serial Bus controllers. Make sure you turn on show hidden devices.

Worked! After 3 weeks speaking and sending emails with Razer's tech support, their only answer was "Contact to your computer provider". Unbelievable that they couldn't spend a few minutes and actually help their customers... Thanks man.

Okay so I literally tried everything but nothing worked for months... SUDDENLY, while I was reinstalling Razer Synapse 3 (again), right after a computer restart and letting my computer settle a bit, I was watching a video, and the installation went while the video played, it actually worked! If you're still having issues, try playing some music or some video WHILE you are installing razer until it completely finishes, the sound wouldn't work sometimes while installing but don't stop the video/music! Tell me if this worked out for you too!

Hello guys, i have a problem here. I am using kraken x and it can do 7.1 before, but recently the 7.1 doesnt work anymore (only 5.1). When i checked the sound settings > playback, the 7.1 surround sound speaker icon disappeared and there is only realtek hd speaker icon. There was a 7.1 icon when it worked before, but i don't know it's just gone now. The razer app engine cant detect the 7.1 speaker as well. I've tried to reinstall all the razer apps and unplugged my kraken x, but the 7.1 is still not detected. I wish somebody could help me..

I bought the Naga Hex V2 back in 2017, worked great in the first year but then I started having minor issues: Mouse would occasionally stop working unless I unplugged and replugged it into it's USB port. Just recently however it will not be detected by Either Synapse 2 or 3. (It had been disconnecting from synapse earlier but that was resolved with reconnecting the device). I've reinstalled the drivers using Device Manager and checked for updated drivers, I've reinstalled both Razer Synapse versions to no avail. I'm very upset.

what i dont like is i have a laptop right and i go places with that laptop and i use a usb c dock. when i start up my laptop with the dock already connected it recognizes my devices all well and good, a razer keyboard and mouse. then when i leave to go places i unplug and go. when i come back and plug the dock back in, its like i connected a generic set of keyboard and mouse. which is weird because in the devices and printers command prompt, it recognizes my keyboard and mouse down to giving them custom icons.

It wont recognize my Raptor 27"... What do i have to do? i even tried to plug in USB-C

How come I get a product brand new on shelf and it won't recognize it?

I just bought my razor seiren mini today and the only disappointment is not detected... But when i switch into a different Micro-USB cable, it somehow works. I'm confuse why my Seiren Mini's Micro-USB cable is not working.

I got a new mouse, the razer basilisk v3, and all I wanted to do was set it to one static color, and keep it that way by using synapse 3 but it's not being recognized in the studio. Is the basilisk v3 even compatible?

An hour later. Fixed it by uninstalling Synapse, deleting all registry keys and everything related to razer. Installed it again and it worked. Some guy in the comments was talking about watching a video and listening to music as a solution while installing Synapse! 😆 Well that at least helped me not to throw the webcam at my monitor! 🤣

About the nari ultimate, is it supposed to be detected when it's connected with an audio jack?

I got a replacement Razer VIper Ultimate and Mouse Dock Chroma under warranty and I just plugged them in and Synapse won't recognize either of them. I did every youtube tutorial and the Device Detection Troubleshoot and Synapse still won't recognize them

For a brand with such a high mark up on its products, the support is god awful.

I just got my razer huntsman mini and it wont type it wont light up synapse wont detect it and ive been doing this for four hours im mildly annoyed and probably never purchasing another razer product again

Try to check if the drivers on your PC is updated. Synapse 3 will not detect your Huntsman Mini if the keyboard is not detected by the PC. You can find additional troubleshooting steps here: support.razer.com/gaming-keyboards/razer-huntsman-mini/

my razer kraken mercury came without a usb, only a blackjack thing you put at the front of the computer. i can't locate my device in razer synapse. is that the problem?

It used to work fine for me. Updated all drivers and firmware after my mouse stopped connecting to the Synapse application. There's never been a functional issue, just can't customize color scheme and DPI anymore :[

Hello i just bought the razer seiren v2 pro. the audio mixer in synapse 3 was working for a few days. then for some reason when i plug in my headset into it i cant hear it. I i found out it was the razer app itself how can i fix it.

Did all the steps above. Still cant find my barracuda X in Synapse 3. Why did I bought them if I even cant to use software to set them.

This still doesn’t work for me, I just got a Razer Blackshark v2 X and it doesn’t detect my headphones.

Delete Riot Vanguard Guys I found a solution for those who cant find any solution !!!! If these Videos dont help you, delete the Valorant Anti Cheat. It is called Riot Vanguard. I tried everything but Riot Vanguard had blocked my Keyboard and Mouse from the Razor Synapse Software. Once I deleted it it worked !!!!

Tristian Extreme audio drivers are connected to the software .... meaning if software acts up your audio drivers won’t work ... just a bad setup .

my computer is completely incapable of detecting my deathadder elite, i think all i need is deathadder elite drivers but all i can find is drivers for every single non-elite deathadder mouse

Ive looked at every tutorial to change my mouse color and it can detect it on the main area but when i try go to studio it says No compatible devices detected please connect a razer chroma device im clueless so please help ;_;

Razer when it comes to reinvesting into the longevity of their products or support, they try to get away from that responsibility because how is it a multi-million dollar business that doesn't have their essential software fully operational for their products (synapse etc.). It's simply not compatible with macbook m1 models so good luck trying to find a way to customize the dpi and such or even updating your products in hopes of fixing technical issues (driver update etc.) because you cannot. Razer too many bad things are shinning over you such as poor quality control, short product lifespan, lack of proper support and even misleading (n95 mask). FIX THIS.

@@gamax4254 Who has the best screen, battery life and updates; the answer is macbook m1 as for the price it comes with all that thus all it needs is geforce now or stadia then bam you are ready to game. At 1000$ there aren't any good gaming laptops as they all have 1 or several major flaws (battery, quality control, poor warranty, low brightness and inadequate color reproduction, overheating,...).

I'll give you a valuable advice, you better find a good work laptop that can game (Apple and a few Lenovo models) rather than a gaming laptop that can be used for work. What's even better, don't game on a laptop and play instead on a custom or pre-built desktop or console.

I have a Razer Naga Trinity mouse and since I work from home I have to use a KVM switch (for work and home PCs) and Synapse doesnt recognize my mouse (I even redownloaded Synapse) how can I get Synapse to recognize my mouse so I can program my mouse buttons?

I added 2 more argb controllers but razer only detects 1 controller and it can't control the other 2 anymore.. is ther any work around or fix or rename the controller or device itself also?

Hi! Is it possible that a fake product can still be registered to synapse because a got a mini viper for a cheaper price and was able to register it?

my razer mamba wireless gears mouse just stopped working completely. No more lights no more movement. Windows makes a sound when i plug the mouse in but it doesnt detect it like it used to.... WTF HAPPENED

i fixed mine by switching profiles on the mouse page and then back again dont know if this will help anyone the repair profile sounds more likely to fix it

Yah, this is pain with Razer. I have switched to Corsair. Unfortunately Corsair products are not as good, but at least they don't have software issues. They connect every time.
