    Why did the patch move upwards by 4 in the translation section? why 4? How did you calculate this? I don't know how to proceed with my antenna design, which has different lengths.

    why we give half the value for every width and length of the substrate and not for height? (like l/2 or w/2)

    Hello, because the patch is located at the origin of the x-y plane, so if a square measures 10mm, then you would want to have -5mm to the left and 5mm to the right
