How to design a home office space- My Daily Life in Rural France - Ep 24 - In this week’s video, I’ll show you how to make a home office setup that blends into your walls when you’re not using it! Even though my wife and I use a shared home office space, it still doesn’t intrude on our home too much. Using a simple trick with paint and some clever storage, it’s possible to make a home office in almost any room. It’s amazing what some good home office decor can do for a room.
Finding suitable home office design ideas can be tricky, especially if you don’t have a dedicated room. I hope my home office ideas will help you to create a home office in your house.
Subscribe to my channel so you never miss a video! I'll share my slow living videos and chat to you about my new life living in France in the countryside - with lots of stunning shots of France and French culture that you won’t want to miss. I’ll also share some home improvement tips and tricks and how-to videos, as well as tips on how to live on a budget in the countryside in France. Plus, my new series ‘New Lives in France’, where I chat with people who have made the move to start a new life in France, will go out once a month. I hope this will inspire you! With guest appearances from my chickens and cats, of course!

Cracking job Peter. Jane loves that grey colour. It's amazing how a smell can trigger memories. Lovely.

Love that colour, always good to reminisce, new to your channel and loving it. I’m planning our move to France, I’m 100% sure about it, my husband is worried about finding work, any tips?

Hello and welcome! So glad you're enjoying my videos :) I think if possible have something you can do remotely/online when you first get here. If that's not something your husband can do (I'm not sure what type of work he does) he could look into being an estate agent or there are plenty of jobs around if he is a skilled tradesman (plumber, electrician etc.). Or he could even start his own business. I would recommend you join some of the local expat groups for your potential area in France to ask about opportunities in the area to get an idea, I know a lot of people are happy to help on those. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply, he is a kitchen & bathroom fitter.. so I’m sure he would get work as he’s very good and his tiling ect is amazing, to be honest I’m loving so many areas- we are planning a holiday next year for a few weeks so we can travel around a few of my favourites and look at some houses :)
