Here's a quick hack to enable you to demo the Dirac Multichannel room correction software. It's ups and its downs and with a surprise RME Raydat firmware and driver update.

I have had to restart the whole measurement process many times, so +1 for changing the orientation.
Splendid.
Why wouldn’t you use the Dirac desktop app and select it as the output device in the Dolby Atmos Renderer? You don’t need to go trough Blackhole.

The desktop app is only 8 channels so can not do 7.1.4. I have been on to them for ages to make it 16channels

@@reallyniceaudio It's weird as I can select up to 9.1.6. I haven't tried it as I don't have this setup, but it should be possible. Maybe it's been updated recently?

@@michaelanctil4972 So when you open the Audio Midi Setup app, and see the Dirac Virtual Audio device, how many outputs does it say it has?

@@reallyniceaudio Sorry, I was referring to the possibility to use it as an output audio device with let's say the Dolby Atmos Renderer or simply inside Pro Tools. Maybe you can't playback a higher channel count.

@@michaelanctil4972 yeah it needs to be 16 channels on the Dirac Virtual Audio device. BUT!!! Pro Tools allows you to make a Renderer out Master Bus so it can go on there!!!! Thanks for helping me figure it out. Gunna have to try and blag another demo license.
