How to Deepen Hypnotic Trance Without Scripts

We don't want to be too 'clunky' with our clients when inducing hypnotic trance, and I ideally want them to feel as if we've simply had a conversation.
Many practitioners have commented on my UPTV videos of treating clients and inducing a hypnotic induction, amazed at how I seem to help my clients go into a deep trance just by continuing our natural conversation, and I want to share a few techniques I use to help that here.
In this video I share three of the 'deepener' techniques I use to guide clients into trance, without the need to use hypnosis scripts.
Do you use any of your own artful hypnosis deepener techniques?

This brings up a question for me that might involve a mix of the first two methods. One metaphor I've seen used in deepening is the image of a staircase leading down, ( deeper, inward ). Once you get the subject started down those stairs, can you make them want to continue on their own without the little push of saying, " now you take the next step," and so on? Give them a goal, a carrot, that is waiting. Or, they are competitive by nature, overlay the first metaphor with the idea of racing against an opponent or setting a new record? This would create the illusion of deepening being the subject's choice. Only, intervene when you want to pause the deepening. The reward can be the intense relaxation and pleasure felt at the bottom of the "steps." Or with the race metaphor, being handed the trophy. Which itself could be used to deepen further, by telling them the moment they take the trophy, they'll drop 100 times deeper than they are at that moment. Again, their seemingly volitional act being the cause of the deepening?

This is one part i dont get, how do you integrate this method? Or rather when do i use it ? Instead of doing inductions? You tell stories? What is the benefit, distinction from induccing tranze this way?

Thanks for your deepening ideas. When you talked about Hitler , and his rallies putting the masses in trance , I couldn't stop thinking, that Donald Trump is doing the same. And he is good at it .

It is clear you favor an Ericksonian style, even though you do no simply say that. I do wish you would not equate the manipulative cult propaganda practices of Hitler with Hypnosis, as this is already a profession that must overcome much in the way of myths and misperception. As far as deepening, it can speed up the process, if it is done in a way that clears the mind to the point of complete emptiness, then the suggestion is given that powerful resources are being reclaimed and brought in to fill that void, and from this deep and resourceful place the client becomes the master of their mind and body, followed by predetermined affirmations etc. I would point to the work of Elman as a hint to how I have been accessing this deep state. My goal is always to become obsolete as quickly as possible and have the client become their own authority through self-hypnosis. I am trying to find value in your presentations, but it would help if you were impeccable with your choice of words. As Hypnotherapist everything we convey is an affirmation. We must strive to do our best, Thank you

Daniel, maybe you would be kind enough to post a link to your KZread channel and we can all take some pointers from you. That is not a challenge or stroppy, but rather a genuine request. Reading your post, or rather critique of Mark's methods has me quite curious about the therapies and techniques you practice. I'd really be interested in learning more, and I'm sure the folks that visit this channel would all benefit from your knowledge.
