Thanks for the nice comment! Glad that my video can you relax, enjoy your well deserved rest!🙏
Digital photos can clutter up your phone or computer very easily. I try to delete unwanted pics right away instead of letting them sit there. Great video as always 💛

I try but fail! It’s amazing how they can clog up my phone so quickly!
I used to be THE person who carried the camera everywhere and I have so many photographs of my teen years thanks to that. But eventually I got tired of it. Now I enjoy moments differently. I take a few photos with my phone but I upload them on Instagram or Facebook and I delete most of them from my phone later. And this must sound strange but I don't upload anything on "the cloud". This way I force myself to every now and then save the photographs I do want to keep in an album on my computer or in an external harddrive
This was clarifying for me. I often feel bad if I get home after having a good time and realise that I forgot to take a photo. I felt as though I wasn't appreciative in the moment because I didn't remember to record the event...but now after watching this video I realise that it is a good thing - I was so present in the moment that I didn't break the feeling to record it for later.

Same! The best moments for me are those when I completely forget I even have a camera
I have noticed that you actually only need a couple of few good photos/videos of a certain day or event to make you remember the highlights. You don't need to remember every single thing that happened anyways. For the most part when looking at a picture, it mostly makes you remember the things you didn't record anyways because you were so presence at the time. When taking a picture you actually focus mostly on the camera. Also think about what and how many pictures pictures you are going to leave behind the day you leave life.
HI CK, CONTINUE TO POST INSPIRING VIDEOS OKAY? YOUR EDITING HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH SINCE I STARTED FOLLOWING YOU. ❤

I definitively have too much meaningless photos on my phone. So this video was coming at a great time, because I've always wondered about this. Now I am really motivated to declutter my photos. Thank you so much! I love your videos ❤😀

Good morning. Happy that you feel this way. Thanks Ian. Have a great day ahead!
I also like the idea of not just going through your photos afterwards and editing them but editing how many go in there in the first place - this could apply to alot of other situations too and I think is a healty minimalist approach to actions.
I am one of those persons who clean their gallery everyday and rarely click pictures. I prefer to go on a trip without phone so I can really enjoy it and most likely keep my sketchbook with me to capture the moment.
Great tips! I’ve been struggling a lot with decluttering photos 🙈
love this. i dont travel but ive been to a lot of concerts and i realized i only enjoyed like half bc the other half of the shows ive been to i was just busy taking photos and videos. but when i attended some shows when i didnt take much photos or vids i actually enjoyed it more
Great as always. Thanks Cheng. 💯💪🏽
Keep doing a great job. Always looking forward for your videos every week.
I once read about a guy who stop taking pictures and instead started recording the sounds and the environment of every trip he made. This way when he plays the audios the memories of the trip are so much vivid ☺️
Thanks CK! I really love every video clips you posted. Love from Myanmar!
This video is so great and exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you so much for the encouragement and reminders to get rid of my extra photos. I will admit that I am intimidated by the amount of time it is going to take to go through more than 7,000 photos. I will keep your advice in mind as I do.
Eye opening thoughts, Thanks bro 👍🏽
this is a problem i usually struggle. thanks for the tips. i need to remind myself with it. and also your videos are so cool, keep it up! 🙌✨
Honestly, it's easier to transfer photos you like to keep into a cloud space (no lose trough hardware failure) and delete the entire folder from the device. With this amount of photos it is easier to chose what to keep, than to delete all the unwanted.
I think, for me, whenever I try to take a photo it does the opposite, I put more focus on the things around me. A helpful tip is limiting the settings to play around, like using one lens, one body, one mode, etc.
Pay attention!! You are a genius dude thank you very much !!!

Love this video, greetings from Colombia!
Thank you once again.
I have the same film camera but lately I haven’t been feeling inspired to take any pictures with it. Nothing has felt special enough that I want to spend the money and have a photo printed. I miss going on adventures and seeing new things. I definitely think photos can help me pay attention and remember events but they also shape my memories - the things I take photos of are the parts I remember best, and sometimes it can shift my feelings about an event later.
you should do a video on photography and minimalism because I'm terrible on keeping my camera gear low
Relatable topic and great video as always.

Absolutely! Happy that you liked it! Thanks Sajan!
I try to take photos with a camera (film or digital) that's separate from my phone. That way I can keep my phone in the bottom of my bag so I'm not distracted by notifications. This extra friction between having to develop the film or even just take out the SD card and put the photos on my computer before posting to social media helps too!
i regularly delete/post photos. when my phone has close to 300 items it means i've been slacking. just make it a habit to delete extraneous or accidental shots immediately.
I really enjoy your contents!! I learned so much from them :))

I truly love this channel and wonder often why youtube refuses to ring my bell?... however a strange if not humorous thought occurred on this particular one.....what if this is the voice that will be used to direct our future Ai CCPState-run lives? Also, the fact that I am enjoying the irony of an Asian dressed like a N. Korean or Antifa member telling me not to take too many photographs.
Thinking before clicking would save me a lot of time. Thank you, Cheng! Keep on with this kind of content 👍
