As someone who's in the interview process for a founding designer role and my first out-of-college job, this video is really reassuring and helpful! Looking forward to more of your content!

As someone edit is also changing career paths also, I really appreciate how honest your videos are and I’d love to know more about how you transition your professional profiles and resumes over to ux when applying to jobs

Hi! I’m happy you appreciate my honesty in my videos. I try my best to keep things genuine and real. I think transitioning my previous experience to my UX experience was definitely not straightforward. That’s a great topic to talk about in a future video. Thanks for your suggestion! Feel free to connect with me on Instagram if you have more questions! @janeyang.design

It definitely doesn't come easy, but with practice and confidence it can be done! Also beating imposter syndrome doesn't look the same for everyone, so I would consider the small wins too. Sending you positive energy, thanks for watching!

Thank you so much for sharing your story and I love your honesty that made me relieved. I’m originally from Japan and will turn 31 yrs this year. Im in commune college and I have no design backgrounds whatsoever. But I really enjoyed the communication design I took last semester. I decide to continue to study UX design. While I’m studying UX design, I already feel that I never gonna make it or im not good enough to do UX design. But now I know I’m not only who has the feeling and know how to get rid of it! Thanks!
