I had anger issues and emotional disregulation as a kid (common ADHD symptom, which I didn't know then). My dad introduced me to meditation.

I totally get the whole being terrified of and avoiding confrontation until a line is crossed and then you flip the fuck out. It's the craziest kind of phenomenon, satisfying at first but totally destructive on so many levels in the long run. Yay for growing up and maturing :D

Lol. I work in a school and what people don't want to admit is that most people who get beat up is the bully and this is the reason the teachers turn a blind eye.

I feel like if you're pissed, sometimes you just gotta let it out in the moment, whether by saying something or hitting an inanimate object. I used to just shove my feelings and they would all brew for years because they never felt "resolved". Not healthy. If you get it all out in the moment, you get over it and then other people get over it too. I got harassed a lot and the times that stuck with me and caused emotional pain were all the times I didn't respond with aggression. Every single time I called people out, I was able to let go of it because it felt done.

Nahhh, what woulda been an amazing comeback is if you actually helped the Ikea dude out, and then you "accidentally" dropped his expensive shit midway. That woulda been a dope way to get back at the dude. "Oh shit, your glass table broke! My bad dude, didn't mean to drop your table." EDIT: Shoutouts to Nick, had the same exact thought!

Fairly CHILL, we give some rope, but when we blow up, WE BLOW UP!! Then it's back to normal/ all good. Love the podcast.

To be fair, miatas are so small and low to the ground compared to all the bigger, taller cars out there that they feel more fear of crashing on the road than any other driver. Road rage is funny. Whenever someone honks at me, then tries to see who's driving in my car, one I look right back at them, and we meet eyes, they chicken out and look away.

Being an Asian dude, we have reason to be angry. People will try to flex on you for no reason other than the idea that you won’t retaliate or give them any pushback. The only Asian dudes in America I see getting any respect are those with power/money or the battle-hardened guys from the streets like China Mac. We need a little aggressiveness
