I was searching online what to do if you lose your BMW key and came across this video, I used the phone number posted and contacted Ismail today and he came out the same day! He made a new key for my 2007 BMW Z4 as well as programmed the key fob.. AAA came out and could not get my car open. They tried to go through the window they tried for over 45 minutes until they finally gave up.. I told Ismail the story and he laughed and proceeded to show me how easy it was to get into my vehicle in less than five minutes he worked his magic and open the door through the keyhole with his tools! Oh , and he was very reasonable on price. Half of what I would have paid if I had BMW do it.. I highly recommend using the phone number if you need it!! YOU JUST SAVED ME HELLA MONEY BRO I LOVE YOU! I honestly had no idea there was another piece in my key. I spent an hour freaking out pissed off thinking I would have to sleep at work. But A: I replaced my battery, and B: learned about the little black piece that fell out that I NEEDED to start my car. So I just threw it inside the diamond, put it all together, did the relearn procedure AND MY CAR STARTS AND THE DOORS LOCK/UNLOCK!! 🙏 I'm gonna go celebrate 🍾

Thanks for the video. Went and saw Ismail 2 weeks ago. I purchased a key from Amazon and wanted him to cut and program for my car. When I got there it was the wrong key blade but lucky for me Ismail had a flip key I could use and the style I wanted. The whole process took less then 10 min and I was on my way. I have to say he's the real deal and I love my key. Thanks again.

Fantastic and simple advice. I have a 2015 X5 which came with a spare fob but would not operate the doors remotely. I opened the doors of the X5 with the working fob and returned it to the house. Once in the car with the spare fob, I held it to the steering column, where marked, started the engine, pressed down the unlock button and pressed the centre BMW button three times and CONFIGURED, the doors now lock and unlock using the spare. Thank you so very much for sharing this. George

I’ve made a few keys myself this summer and programmed them using the AK90 programmer. One thing to mention is that you make sure you select the right chip in the dropdown menu on the right. If you choose the wrong chip, assign a key to a slot and write that hex file back to the EWS module you will brick it. There is a number on the chip inside the EWS module where you put the AK90 socket onto, it must match with what you select under EWS read/write.

Arno Bruynen , yes you are right but that rarely happens since in order to read the ews in the first place you ha e to choose the correct chip number. Still a very good note to anyone working with AK90

That is so awesome! The 'hold the unlock, then 1,2,3, go' worked for me to get my key, which wasn't working at all to work again. No replacements, no soldering, no battery replace, nothing. So cool. Thank you so much--what might have made it go unprogrammed in the first place though?

Great video just what the doctor ordered. My key was jacked up by the previous owner and I have been trying to figure out why the buttons aren't working. I guess Its time for a new key.

This is good stuff. I am waiting on my replacement batteries hopefully this week. I read on some other posts that the programming cycle was 5 clicks into the on position, then 3 button presses when holding unlock. It didn't do anything, so I'm guessing the battery is properly dead. Which ignition position did you leave the key in for a few seconds?

Love the video thankyou for the info ,I live in Las Vegas & theres plenty of locksmiths here ,but they don't like to mess with BMW's cuz of our EWS..I am going to send my new keys and my OME key to this man and hopfully upon return it'll work and solve my starting issue..

I had to call 4 different locksmiths to get mine cut. I cant believe how I had to hunt considering the town I live in has a ton of BMWs. I should buy the machine and start a cottage industry.

I have the AK 90 and taught myself to code the keys and get a local locksmith to cut them for me. Here in New Zealand we import a lot of BMW's from Japan all there keys are 2 button infra red, you can still use a diamond 3 button key and program it

Interesting topic. On a similar note, I would like to install a pager alarm in my impreza and was looking for a tidy solution. Is there a way to make the all-in-one key? Like, taking an aftermarket alarm system and moving the immobilizer and actual key from oem key in to aftermarket one, that came with alarm system. Do these things exist, or do we still have to carry a bunch or keys end remotes?

50’s Kid, is it possible to change my car key system if i take the door lock, ignition key cylinder, tumbler and remote key sensor behind the glove box from another? I have a spare car i use for parts, both 325i. Is there something else that needs to be changed? Great video! I picked up an F Series key, got it to pair, however it won't start my car. Locks and unlocks, but will not start the car. Thoughts? When i put it in the Ak90, it reads it fine. Did miss something? Does the transmitter need to be in a special spot inside the F series FOB? Thanks!!

Great video. It would awesome if you could a video on how to program a EWS with AK90+. I got an issue when starting, when i remove and fix EWS it works, i am thinking issue is with EWS.

Programmed 2 new keys slot 5 and 6. All three started the car and remote worked. Then some how the two new ones lost their remote sync. re-synced with car and now only one new one remote works. Luckily all three start the car. Still researching. Thanks for the video

Edward Webber take of the intake manifold watch out for back connections be orginaized you can do it in back yard have a good tool set watch a video and do it to make sure you get it done nobody cares if your computers out there with you . You just saved 400-600$

Awesome video learned a lot and was able to program a2 keys. but for some reason i can only get one key to open and close my doors. the second one wont program to unlock, i even put new batteries and still not working. you guys have any idea why my 2nd key wont program to unlock?

Does the trunk button on the new key work right away as well after you program it? or do you have to hold the unlock button and hit the trunk button 3 times to get it to work?

Can you apply something on the chip legs after you scrape them to protect them again against moisture ? Or it is not that important? Thank you !

Does it matter which type of transponder it is? The sellers usually list ID44 but how do I know what the genuine key has? Or does it not matter as long as its one of the three types listed for E46?

I need 2 keys cut. Can I send a key to get them cut?

Will this work on an E60 2004 (think it's a CAS2 system, as the keys are 868mhz) so probably don't need the AK90+ as that'll only program EWS. CAS keys are programmed this way I assume or am I wrong?

If I want to clone my key to the same position do I still need to read out the EWS? Or can I just read the key transponder data and clone?

2002 BMW X-5 Diamond key is dead can you fix? I tried new battery but cannot solder contacts.

Nice video but how do you program a key if you have a start/stop button? I have a 2012 F11 were it say "low battery" and when I put a new battery in it takes about 2-3 month and it says "low battery" again. I still use it but some times it says "no key" and I can't start unless I lock and unlock a couple of times and it has been like this for 5 years.

A 2009 335i uses a cas module, so the ak90+ can’t be used on that. Any options other than the ak300+ for making a key with a cas module?
