Leslie Azzarelli id recommend a good professional set like the wahl brand or something similar. Brands like conair etc may not be sharp enough to cut through thick hair effectively. Let me know if you need me to update links if things are sold out and I’ll add some recommendations! 💗

Thank you for what you are doing. I am a 66 year old woman with MS..My husband is 80 and during quarantine and it's continuance his hair grew longer than we'd ever remembered. He begged me to cut his hair...I used my sewing scissors and needless to say he looked pretty sad. We've purchased a set of clippers and I'm going to watch your videos over and over until I can figure this out. Ha, I think it took me about that long too, maybe even longer.

The key is to go a little longer at first and remember that wet hair will be shorter when it dries. I just spent a couple of hours cutting my man's hair and it came out better than after some of the cheap haircuts he's got in the past at a barber. He's very pleased with the results and I've learned something new! Thank you for the clear instructions!

I finished cutting my husband's hair just a few minutes ago following the instructions in this video! Thank you so much, this video is a lifesaver!

I tried this haircut on my dad and he was very pleased with how it turned out. It WAS hard the first time but after a few mistakes, you learn and it goes even better the next time. So thank you for making this video and making us beginners feel a bit more confident!

Thank you so much for this: I just finished cutting my husband’s hair for the 3rd time using this tutorial, and it’s straight up amazing. Completely fool-proof, even for someone like me who has absolutely zero natural aptitude. The first time I used it, my husband’s coworkers thought he had broken covid lockdown to go get his hair cut. Now, even though he’s fully vaccinated and could go to the barber shop, we’re sticking with this haircut because it turns out so reliably good!

Great instruction. Just gave my “Einstein hair” husband a cut with your video. The hardest part was being left-handed! Thank you. Little boy is up next, and I see you have a video for him, too.

Thanks so much for this video! Really clear and easy to follow. I used it before cutting my husband's hair for the first time a couple of months ago and it looked great - when I posted the before and after pics on Facebook a friend who's a hairdresser said it was the best 'home cut' he'd seen... I'll take that (although I don't know what else he'd seen!!). Just watched again as a refresher before attempting anther trim.

@Bryce Anne Hopper Not true. I've been trimming my own layered bangs between cuts for decades. I can usually find a good pair of scissors at Ulta for about $20 and I just replace it when it gets dull, every other year or so. Already have a barber's comb that cost $2. This quarantine meant I finally I had to trim the rest of my hair. I was easily able to find my stylist's lines in my layered hair and take 1/4" off. I had my husband take pictures of all sides and angles and everything is miraculously even. My brush no longer tugs the ends. I am happy with it and that's all that matters. This weekend I attempted my husband's hair and it came out great. None of this means either of us won't go back to our stylists. Standing for an hour cutting hair is not my thing.

Ah no! I couldn’t get hair scissors so I used those small tweezer scissors you get with nail clipper kits lol. It came out looking decent, you must just be a bit more patience ✨. In a way the small scissors helps you to not cut off too much hair.

So I tried this on my husband! Was feeling super confident after watching the video. Lol. I was struggling through out the process. I tried finding the guide like how she mentioned, but I kept getting lost in his hair. At one point I almost gave up and sat down on the bathroom floor. There were some clear demarcation lines on the sides as well. The only saving grace is that my husband's hair is kind of wavy, so it was very forgiving of the bad job I did. New found respect to all hair stylists and barbers. It's a lot harder than it looks!!

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial. I have never felt confident about cutting hair. Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Now I have a happy "customer" who looks years younger!

@@EverydayCatholic I am , I have no choice, he was in the hospital for 22 days with a twisted bowel (emergency surgery) and a bleeding ulcer. Two GI doctors and two hospitals later and a doctor who was smart to move him from the first hospital, I am lucky to have him home! I had a prayer chain going for him around the world! I kid you not!!!

I’ve been cutting my son’s hair all his life, but knew I needed to up my game as he’s getting older. He loved the cut-thanks so much for the tutorial!

This video was VERY helpful to me! I never cut anyone’s hair before but with the quarantine situation right now desperation drove me to having to cut my 17 year old son’s very long and out of control hair. Your clear and concise instructions helped me to have a great result! I didn’t expect it would turn out so well. I’m pretty proud of myself...THANK YOU🙏
