Hello. I love your videos! My son is 5 and has really thick hair and lots of it. The other shears I bought from a local beauty store pulls on his hair when I cut it. Especially when trying to blend the bottom with the top. Can you tell me which shears in your shop are the ones you’re using in this video? They seem to cut effortlessly and are very sharp. Also can you let me know how to care for them? How to clean and oil them if needed? I’m a super beginner lol I tried to cut my sons hair a few years ago but with one pull of the clippers he was done lol so I took him to a friend that works in a barber shop. But since that’s no longer an option I’m doing it at home again. Thanks for all of your help!

I don't know what my husband would have looked like for the past year without this video - can't thank you enough! My husband's hair is super-fine and soft, and I have to go over and over and OVER it with the clippers to cut it. Do you think different clippers would help? The clippers I have are made by Braun. Never cut hair before the pandemic. I’ve used this method several times & it comes out well. Nicely demonstrated & explained. Thanks a lot. A good electric clipper set helps. Using Wahl now. Thank you for making this tutorial!

Hello! I love these hair videos so much! Could you please do a hair dying video? I dyed my non-bleahed brown hair purple with a semi-perminent hair color. It came out within the first and second wash. Not completly but way more than half! We just rubbed the dye into my hair scalp etc. We then washed it out in the shower with no soap. Do you have any tips for next time? I love your videos!

Ahh, thanks for taking the music out while talking, it's so much better! What's your take on corded versus cordless clippers? I can't decide what's best for me. I don't want to deal with the cord, but are corded ones better? Looking to spend less than $50. Thanks!

Gosh, I’m learning so much from you!! I did my Husband’s hair (who only wanted a 4 and a 2 grading, so it doesn’t look so bad) but my Son is wanting the trendy hairstyles you have for kids now! My problem is his hair is very very dry, course, and spiky and is very chaotic when trying to manipulate it! I have ended up making his hair look pretty choppy despite trying to blend it as well as i can with shearing scissors. Any tips on how i can deal with stiff, course hair? He has a couple of hair wefts as well. I guess what I’m asking is what could be a good way to blend it seamlessly? I still ended up going too far up (past the occipital bone) in my bid to try and blend it! Lol!

All 3 appear to have different hair types. My oldest hair spikes up like a porcupine for some reason. He ended up with an army cut pretty much a month ago so today I used the clippers again solely around the head to that midpoint and did not touch the top so I can let the top grow out more. However his hair spikes up and it just doesn't look right. Help😅✂️💇‍♂️ He may have to wear a hat for a week for going outside. It grows quick🤷‍♀️

I just found your tutorial and it’s great, my only question is would you do the same technique with super long hair? My husband has not had a haircut since before the pandemic started so his hair is definitely past his chin. He wants me to cut his hair and I’m a little anxious about it because it’s so long right now.

Lauren Saunter oh! I ask my stylist for baby lights so they blend nicely when growing out. For color she uses a toner to cut any brassy tones! 💗

Can you do the finishes touches around the ear and back of neck without a trimmer?

Holly Gothorp you could but it’s hard to do with bulky clippers and won’t be a nice clean cut line like with the trimmers. I recommend using the trimmers!
