See your update stying routine for shorter hair,lot quicker styling when you have longer hair. Also see your hair straightening for this length. This length works for longer lighter layers instead thick solid layers.

Why did you decide not to do the pigtail cut for this length? Have you tried one of those three way mirrors to see the back? I’m wondering whether there is a good way to cut while seeing the back. My hair is above the shoulders. Your hair looks great!

Since I was planning on cutting a large amount of hair off, cutting it dry first was the best bet for me to ensure the length was exactly where I wanted it to be. With that said the pigtail cut is an excellent follow up to this haircut to ensure everything is nice and even. Since your curls are above your shoulders I think it might be best to get someone you trust to help you cut it from the back. It's really hard to reach back and do it on your own when its curly. I have seen tutorials where some curlies choose to stretch or straighten it first & then cut it from the back using the method you mentioned. I wouldn't cut a huge chunk off using that method though because of shrinkage. I hope this helps!

My hair is at this same length since forever i wish it could grow like yours before the haicut... Do you have regrets?
