I stumbled upon this by accident since I was contemplating donating my hair but wasn't really sure. I was surprised when I saw this thumbnail. Nadia, the model here is heartbreakingly no longer with us. Thank you for sharing this video, it really warms my heart to see her again. I remember she told me she donated her hair, I'm sure it meant a lot to her to be a part of this. She was a lovely friend.

My top hair is longer than my sides. Is there a different way to part it with uneven hair?

I was thinking the same thing? Would you measure it as curly? Or straighten it? Would you still need to band it all the way down the shaft?

We can still donate if the one cutting the hair is not a salon? My husband is a professional hair dresser but no working in a salon anymore .we did everything mention in the video

I got beautiful hair. Copper but not a redhead. Almost. I'd love to donate as my daughter is a survivor. Professionally I don't think I could get her length. Is every made for ladies? I'm a guy.

So less than 12" doesn't matter to donate? How thick the strips need to be? How long can I keep the hair in the tissue/zip lock bag before I send it?

8 inches is the minimum length of donation , 15 inches is the most common length little girls ask for

Every professional hair stylist I’ve worked with used the word untreated instead of “virgin!” It made the video creepy.. especially with the one guy touching the kid and shifting his stares constantly

I understand that they don't want to loose any inches but this is a rather difficult process and asking your hair dresser to to the most.

You Charleston’s , you know it’s a scam, you know 98% of donated Hair is sold for undisclosed profit and hear you are showing people how to be scammed out of there hair.

why you gotta be a jerk hu? how often do you get your hair cut and it just goes to the landfill in a plastic bag that doesn't degrade for 50 years? its just hair and if you are gonna get it cut...you should donate it..its no loss to you. who cares if they sell what they dont use...not like you were trying to sell it. and if you were that would be hypocritical
