I don’t know why this dosent have more views I followed this and I modified my Xbox controller without a problem he shows the best and easies way to pop of the grips and take apart the controller without disconnecting the vibrations (causing you to have to weld them back on) I love this video keep it up

What a lot of people who broke their controllers don't realize is that when you're taking apart your controller, you are able to understand the anatomy of the Xbox One controller and how the buttons work. This comes in handy for when you put your controller together and you test it on actual games. Keep the Xbox on, and have a game set. This way you're in a game by yourself and you can see how the controller reacts and how it works. If it doesn't work, try to understand what's causing it to act up. Take apart the controller again and try to figure out what could be changed to get it to work. This video is actually very accurate and very helpful. While a lot of people is breaking their controllers, you have to continue to take it apart and see what's going on inside it and understand it. It'll take a few times and it might be stressful, but if you keep trying, then you'll get it to work. Good day to y'all. 👍

@@zee6543 no I don't ps4 controllers are more complicated than Xbox one controllers i know by experience when i took apart a ps4 controller to try and customize it. It was just to hard and poorly designed to customize. Xbox one controllers is very easy for me to pick apart and customize in a way considering i am a xbox player after all i don't have anything against any consoles im just stating that PS4 controllers are more complicated than Xbox one controllers

I like picking up different color/pattern controllers every time mine break so I can get more variety to Frankenstein, right now my main controller is using a black backing, white face plate, and the buttons and sticks are all from the electric volt green.

Omg Someone i know decided it would be a good idea to PAINT the controller She got paint stuck in the RS and LS sticks and into the RB and Lb Stick Basicly she broke her whole controller

This was a cool video. My only two problems are affordability, and where I order my parts. I currently am repairing my controller because a plastic bit snapped under the left trigger. Once thats done, I am going to be looking into controller customization because at least I won’t have to pay microsoft highway robbery for a new controller that won’t last as long as when I will be suping mine up.

It's very easy to customize your controller probably the hardest part is popping off the side covers cause it feels like you're gonna snap them. If you have old Xbox 360 controller practice with that first

Hey I'm genuinely having a mental breakdown rn! I did this and I'm having issues with the rb/lb and rt/lt area , each time I put the middle part on where the connect button and charger hole go through it gets extremely tight and the buttons no longer push. I dont know what I'm doing wrong and I've sanded parts to make them thinner but it keeps getting stiff and stuck and idk what the issue is.

Bro would it be possible to incorporate one 3.5mm jack like the xbox one adaptive controller has for a singular function? like say a jack to plug in an external button for the right trigger function? I'm a quadriplegic gamer and don't have finger function and an xbox adaptive controller is just not practical since the only button I have a hard time with is right trigger.

Maybe, I always try and shake it out before reversing the steps, sometimes you get lucky and it will fall right out, unfortunately sometimes you do have to open it back up and get the screw out that way!

Triggers and bumpers are slightly different on original Xbox controller Vs the S. I think it's the way you attach them that makes them different as you can't use triggers from the original Xbox one controller on the newer S models.

Well you want to buy three different cans of paint. 1: the primer. This will allow the surface to prepare for the paint to stick. 2:Any can of paint color that you want, spray a few layers(2-3) 3:CLEAR COAT IT, omg I can not imagine life without this, this basically puts a layer of shield over your paint so that it won’t scratch or wash off( Cause some of you sweat.)

To customize just the front shell of the Xbox One controller you will need, A T8 Screwdriver, a pry tool or anything as thin as a butter knife for in behind the triggers, and a microfiber cloth so you can be careful when peeling of the side panels! I hope this helps!
