I tried this yesterday and loved the result. I have the smaller GHD tong, but it still turned out great. It still looks so good today. It also went quite fast when I got the hang of it. I will definitely be doing this more often. Thank you for this simple tutorial

I was wondering if you were going to try or review or comment on the ultra expensive Repronizer hair dryer. It is hard to learn about the technology they claim as "bio programming", but it sounds like the "intelligence" is in alternating hot and cold air to impart density and strength. To that point, one might ask, "couldn't I get the same effect by alternating hot and cold air with other hair tools and/or by standing in front of a cool fan or AC unit while using a traditional hair dryer?" I recall you doing a review on the Babyliss Cryobrush a while back and was wondering if you had any insight to offer about the hot/cold/bio concept? - thank you again for your wonderful and thoughtful contribution to our hair and makeup navigation!

I feel like I watched this video years ago. Is this a repeat posting? Are beach waves what people are wearing now? I thought it was voluminous retro 80’s/90’s hair now. To get that look, you have to start at the ends with the curling iron and roll up to the root in order to give it lift and volume rather than flatness and to avoid the curls falling out at the end of the strand and looking stringy and uneven.

My personal opinion is that's a lot of work for it not to be as curly as it could be.I always start at the bottom and roll my hair up and at the end use my fingers to loosen the curls up and it turns out beautiful.I totally agree with you about starting with the ends of the hair.

She did this same curling technique years ago with a smaller barreled curling iron. I’ve curled my hair this way for 5 yrs now. This is different from curling your hair starting at the bottom and rolling up. When you curl that way, all the body and volume is at the bottom of your hair and the top and mid section is flat. With my short hair, I like curling like she does in this video. It’s all personal preference, style your hair the way you want to. I hate when people watch a video then criticize how something is done!
