This series is sooo helpful to me as a Junior aspiring to become a pro. One question on average how much time would you recommend I practice after school and on weekends to have any chance of playing on tour? Please keep these types of videos coming Andrew. 👍

Solid video. Love the channel. I've been using google maps to get an idea of where trouble is and how much room I have. I feel like I can show up to a practice round already having a good idea of what to expect from the course and lines. Granted, I put some time into it.

I make sure I get a good stretch and foam roll the back and legs before I go out that looked like a good practice. It's fun when you're not worried about the score and just get to scope the course and and get good quality practice.

Andrew Jensen oh that’s good. So you don’t have to worry about slowing down your group if you want to chip from all sides of a green.

I'm always trying new routines. I don't think one small bucket is enough for me at age 66, to warm up for a round. So come this Saturday (play day), I will start 2 hrs early and hit 2 large buckets - about 150 balls (plus putt & chip). Let's see how that works out. I might have to cut out holes 19-27, but maybe not.

81 yesterday?? I understand tournaments are difficult and more challenging than people think. Awesome that you are still pursuing a dream. But I do want to know what do you think your issue is with shooting high tournament scores? Mental? Keep grinding man.

I just don’t have the sharpness when trying to compete every couple months. If it’s not once thing, it’s something new. I missed 7 putts inside 5 feet yesterday... clearly an anomaly to how I typically putt. Tournament golf is in my past but I thankfully enjoy it more now every so often, regardless of outcome. KZread is my job and that’s where I’m working the hardest to grow/improve

Dude dont give up playing tournements all together, your to solid of a player. Question though....you think you get in your own head to much when sometimes play poorly? Its been along time since i played competitive golf and had good and bad rounds but when i played my best i just thought f it and dont over think anything just play and it is what it is. I could shoot 67 if i played almost like i didnt care what i would score or 87 if i was trying to hard. That was 15 years ago in college so alot different then playing for money but like romeo said in tin cup your brain was getting in the way. Alot easier said then done though i know. Love the channel man keep grinding!
