@@andrewjensengolf what hat are you wearing in this video?
You shouldnt need to justify yourself. You have an obvious talent and dedication for the game. The critics cant understand how great the top 1% pros of golf are and even the next level who are extraordinary players still find it hard to compete at that level. So many super golfers that find it hard to even get on tours.

I agree man! Not really a justification... but as the channel grows, and I don't have my results form years past on display, sometimes it's nice to check in with a brief CV to know exactly why I feel I have value to share to those watching.

@@andrewjensengolf no matter what you accomplish there are always going to be haters. Just look at all of the people who criticize Tiger Woods. People called him a hack and a has-been right up until he won the damned Masters. There are some people who just feel like they need to put others down. They just want to spread misery. Don't listen to them, argue with them, or try to justify yourself to them.
A lot of great practice tips for those that want to take their practice seriously. 💯👊🏼

I appreciate your honesty. I enjoy your vlogs. The game is for fun! Most amateurs take it too seriously. Most ams don’t even practice. Most don’t even warm up pre round. This game is out to get ya from the get go. No routine no rhythm no success!
Excellent insight to your prep, the video was fantastically put together and delivered thanks AJ for all the hard work you put in it's very much appreciated
F*** people hating- thank you for the content you produce- I have found it very helpful, enjoyable and also encouraging.

This is awesome! Exactly what I’m looking into developing. An effective practice routine. Looks like a great way to spend a day. Or split out sections into available time.
Zero need to apologize to anyone. You have reached a level in the game that most aspire to achieve. Thank you!
Great job! Helpful routine
Man love that short game practice. I’ll definitely start implementing some of that in my practice sessions.
Definitely gonna try some of those, maybe start a golf channel soon, who knows ! Thanks for posting, you're a real pro and it shows.

Thanks for the practice sesh! I’m on a road which is very unfamiliar to me...practicing golf instead of just playing. I’ve had 2 lessons in my entire life and those came after almost 15 yrs of “playing” golf (more weed whacking my way down the course). I’m at the point where I’d like to take it seriously and see what I could do in a tournament down the road. This episode was a great live look at what I can start to try out with more intentionality. Thanks AJ! PS- maybe I’ll start a KZread channel about my non-golfer journey to the pros! 🤷♂️

Andrew, if you had a home practice bay with a GC3, how would your practice routine change? How much launch monitor vs. range work would you do?
i dont know how you guys do it. i love playing golf genuinely i can play all day long. practising on the other hand, i cant practise for a whole hour, i just find it too boring, ive tried every-tip from every golf youtube out there, but still i dont like practising. that being said, i dont like practising on my own, if i have a friend or a few friend with me, it alot more fun, but hey thats just me. any ways really really good video man

Off season vs peak season? I am working towards Canada Q-School next year and am trying to build a consistent routine. Any advice is much appreciated!

Hey Patrick! Thanks for the kind words. When I was playing full time, I was on the golf course 6 days a week, working in some way shape or form. Breaks would be taking according to schedule and or health. Things look different now and I maybe practice 4 days a week. If you’re looking to turn pro, you need to treat it like a full time job
People will criticize no matter what level you are. You are good and I think it's crazy that people put you guys in the situation to have to respond. Having said that, I do see where you are coming from with the explanation for future viewers. What do you do for workouts? Do you try to make them more in line with golf or just the normal workout routine? I am 42 and have always been decent at the game but now that my son is about to play college golf, I want to take my game more seriously to continue to be competitive with him..haha
thanks for this video Andrew. very cool stuff. do you video your swing? just curious if you have any recommendations for camera that allows you to play it back frame by frame.
@andrewjensengolf
4 жыл бұрын
Hey man! I do video my swing on my phone but I also use the live view camera a lot. It's basically a video mirror that allows you to see & work on the swing in real time rather than record, walk back, watch, go swing, etc. I've made videos on it so hopefully it could be something that is a beneficial tool for you!

All golfers need to improve their focus by placing the balls behind the player. Rake or place one ball at a time in front of the player. This should remove the anxiety of having multiple balls in your vision of sight. This will improve your tempo and rhythm. One at a time is what you see on the T box and fairway. Have fun
