    Thanks for sharing. One question, on GG do you think most of what you advocate stays the same (question cause they rake hands preflop)?

    Bro that randomize based on card position just boggled my mind. I am adding that to my game. I use a randomizer but adding that in is just going to be helpful. Every little thing counts.

  • @AlvinTeachesPoker

    Yeah I always wonder why people don't just randomize by position or suits. 76s 1/8th of the time is just hearts plus 7 on the left.

    It's just one of those things you never hear about. It never occurred to me until you said it. I've play millions of hands and play for a living. I consume a pretty large amount of poker training content and you're the first one I've heard bring it up. @@AlvinTeachesPoker

    33rd 🤣.......................Gonna go through the video a couple more times just to make sure I got everything. Lot of good information here and I'm not just talking about how you're correcting. The mindset behind it that is showing is truly valuable. Its not 3 bet more because your stat is to low here. Its HEY! Look at your opponents and understand why we need to 3 bet more...............Stay awesome Final Boss👍

    15:25 Alvin, didn t you made video on this topic, "The Most Important Preflop Exploit You're Not Making" 4 months ago? And you showed that bigger open size suggest more premium hands in rfi range. So it means that 3betting more vs 2.0 bu open is more effective. Am I wrong?

  • @AlvinTeachesPoker

    @AlvinTeachesPoker

    7 ай бұрын

    It's much more complex in the bb where you have a flatting range rather than in other positions where you should just 3b or fold. When you mean "effective, " what exactly do you mean? For example if they x2 and we 3bet as value and their range is weaker, it's a very effective value raise right?

    Hello Alvin I happened to notice your advice midway through the video contradicted your mass data analysis video in which you showed how villains raise fold frequency was directly correlated to their opening size over a substantial sample (4 million ignition hands) just wanted to know if I misunderstood you in this video in which you prefer 3-betting over a larger size but not a smaller size. Further logic you used to justify raising over a smaller size in the past video was that you didn’t give villain credit for being able to raise a balanced range 2.5x. Any and all criticism welcome peace!

  • @AlvinTeachesPoker

    @AlvinTeachesPoker

    7 ай бұрын

    Ah I see. I mean that as a whole facing larger raise sizes, I should 3bet more often than call, and facing small sizes I want to call much more than 3bet. I'm not referring to overall frequency , but the preference of one action over the other as part of your entire strategy.
