Nice vid. I suspect most people aren't using enough trashy future blockers and are too equity driven, so we should probably overfold the turn as a result.

Enjoyed the video but you completely lost me at the end with the QT example, u say its overbet with the club to stop villain from bluffing with the club when we check? Makes zero sense. Don't we bet the QT with a club because it reduces the chances of us being xr shoved on with a ATcc, KTcc or JTcc type bluff which is the worst thing we could face with this equity hand because we have to fold?

When we check back the flop, do we want them to have tc or not when bluff catching?

Vilain having the ten of clubs on river is probably slightly favourable for us to bluff catch. Oh I see!! We split QTo into bet/check based on suits as we want to protect our checking range, we check the non club QTo combos on turn so he has T clubs on river meaning he bluffs at higher frequency and now our bluff catchers like QTo can never have club making them more profitable.

I believe Alvin is saying we should bet the clubbbecayse we get value from middle pair / weak q’s / draws but when we check QTo, we can protect ourselves from getting check raised and bluff catch rivers…. Is this in the ball park?
