With your wonderful math suggestions, I was able to use two strands of #2 weight yarn, one each of Caron Latte Cakes and Caron Cloud Cakes held together. I used my hubby's loved wool beret as a sizer, as he has a BIG head, wears a 12 inch beret, and finished within 2.5 hours! Thank you for making this video. I give you unlimited stars, to fill in where folk are less than generous!❤

Such a beautiful beret! I love it with the fuzzy yarn. You always give complete and easy to follow instructions, and I’m left handed ! I’ve never had any problems completing your tutorials. You can’t please everyone, please don’t even try, teach your way. I’ve only been crocheting a little over a year and you’ve taught me so much. In fact I’m working now to lighten my grip on the yarn I crochet too tightly but I’m improving. Thank you for the wonderful lesson on the beret , I’ve not worn one in years but I think they are beautiful ‼️

I saw it and I did it! Thank you so much. I have been wanting to make a beret for my grand daughter for so long, but the other tutorials were not my jam. You gave such great directions I could not fail. I had to watch the curl at the end a couple of times… not because of the directions but my skill level. I have never seen that stitch before, but it really tops off the best hat I have ever made. I made mine from Big Twist Classic beige. I took a metal dog brush and lightly brushed the fiber to make it “look” felted. It is so cute 🥰. Thank you again.

I just love your fuzzy beret! I'm sorry you got that single star review. Some crocheters need the security of the numbers so they can double check themselves. Newer crocheters, more often than most, really do this. With experience comes freedom and the ability to relax and even freeform stitch. I'm in the middle, lol! 🤟✌️💜🦋😼

She goes up to 7 double crochet rows then stops. You can make more if you don’t feel it’s big enough. If you want a smaller beret you can stop when the circumference is how you like it.
